This is one of the best pieces of land in Michigan with a golf course on it. Beautiful course to take pictures. Saying that it also is an unfair course. Many golfers couldn't play its layout.

We played Greywalls in September as part of the package deal with Island Resort and Casino, along with Sweetgrass. I give them one credit, is that the views and course condition are spectacular. The course is very challenging, but maybe too "tricked" out, which is almost "gimmicky" to me....If they need to trick out the fairways and hazards as much... More

These surroundings are beautiful. The cliffs and forest make the course a place to visit. The actual club house is dated.

The setting is spectacular. It is the hardest course I know. You really have to play here a lot to know where to play the ball. I don't do anything stupid... like keep score. Bring lots of cheap ammo. You are going to lose balls.

If you're a Great Lakes golfer, playing Greywalls is worth the trip for the views and the challenge... the front nine is the most picturesque but don't expect amenities and the greens are brutal. Too many blind shots and elevation changes for me, but several of the holes are memorable, one-of-a-kind challenges. Regardless of what you shoot you wish you... More

Marquette Golf Club has 2 courses. Greywalls is the newest and by far the most challenging. The Heritage course is in great shape and more playable for the higher handicap golfer. Clubhouse is average size but has excellent food and medium service. A must play duo for the diehard golfer.

We have made Greywalls an annual golfing event for our crew of 8 people. This was our 5th annual venture there. Yes the course is hard but the views make up for the high golf score! I believe every golfer should play this course at least one time. The course is very well maintained. I just wish the golf course... More

This was one of the most scenic and natural golf courses I've every played. It was literally cut out of a mountain. Its a challenging course and the greens don't take any prisoners. If you are not a good golfer I would scramble with at least one other person to make it more fun. You will not see elevation changes... More

Yes the course has great views and stay away from the walls with your ball if you can. Too many blind shots, too few landing zones and some small flat greens. Except for the view its not that much fun to play the first time, spent to much time trying to figure out where to hit the ball.

Grey walls is an amazing test of golf. The layout requires good club selection as a result of the many elevation changes. Shots in the fairway are not always rewarded with a level swing. The approach shots are most challenging here with its multi level greens. A shot to the green that misses the mark by a foot can end... More
