The view is great. It may not be quite as dramatic as Sugarloaf. However, you can drive to the summit. The road is fairly rutted though. You get a great view of the city of Marquette spread out below and then Superior from all angles. Other part of Marquette Mountain is for skiing. I am reviewing the overlook. I would... More

This was an enjoyable small area. The snow was sparse so not all the runs were open. But the staff was friendly and the terrain was fun.

We have been to Marquette Mountain for the Central Division Ski Champs 2 years in a row. The people are friendly, the slopes are amazing, and we always have a great time.

Marquette Mountain is one of the best skiing hills in the Upper Peninsula. During the summer they have many activities like mountain biking, volleyball and the occasional fun runs. They also have an onsite eatery and bar.

We traveled the entire upper penisula on a motorcycle. The scenery is gorgeous, water is pristine and there is an abundant places to stop for viewing, relaxing and eating.

A beautiful view of the the country side. They were running a fall special for $5.00 you could go up and down the mountain as many times as you wanted. The falls colors were just stating to turn.

Gorgeous views. There was some construction going on and it was hard to find at first, but once we found the entrance and drove up, the views were breathtaking and worth the time looking for it. We even stopped part of the way up and hiked up to a lookout spot before the main viewing spot. Met nice people up... More

Great shops selling local goods as well as name brand items. Fun place to explore and spend a lazy afternoon. Suggestions for good eats: Babycakes muffins for breakfast, Donckers for lunch and dessert, and Sol Azteca (Mexican) or The Rover (Irish pub) or Lagniuppe (Cajun eatery) for dinner.

I took my daughter to try skiing for the first time back in February. The ski lodge is rather cramped but the staff was very friendly and helpful. The young lady -- Victoria--who gave my daughter her lessons was fantastic. We were so pleased we went back a few days later before our flight left.
