Presque Isle is located on the north side of Marquette. Its not really an island - more of a peninsula, but it has nice spots along the lake shore, playground and picnic facilities, and a lot of trails through the interior of the park. this is a great park to visit if you are pressed for time - you can drive through it in about 1/2 hour and stop and get out to take pics. On the way here you pass an ore loading area and can see some of the huge freighters that run the great lakes - very impressive More
