Great place for a picnic lunch with places for kids to run and play with a great view of Lake Superior. Make sure to bring a jacket because the wind can be very cool off Lake Superior:)

Beautiful area with outstanding views. Would highly recommend to anyone visiting the area. It is so serene. I do wish there weren't so many bikes. It can make it hard to drive around the narrow roads.

It is simply amazing that the forefathers of Marquette thought to preserve this gem for us all to enjoy generation after generation. A trip to the island is a must for every visit to the area! I like that they have amended the car traffic to certain days and times. It's such a peaceful spot that having time to walk... More

We had a great morning at presque aisle. We drove around due to time constraints but stopped at the black rocks. So beautiful. Would have jumped in but did not have time. Amazing park!

This is a wonderful way to see some of the nature that the UP is known for. There are places to picnic and stop through out. We saw deer and other wildlife. The views of the lake are great!

We didn't have the time to stop and do anything in Marquette but we were overwhelmed by just driving through this picturesque little park. We wished we had time to stop and walk out to the lighthouse but it was a definite highlight of our trip to the Upper Peninsula!

If you are visiting Marquette Michigan a stop must be made at Presque Isle Park. This small park juts out into Lake Superior and provides both breathtaking views of the lake, and dense great forest great for hiking. We visited in summer, but don't think that this is a location for getting a tan or swimming. The water in the... More

This is a scenic 323-acre park along the shore of Lake Superior. We enjoy visiting lighthouses and seeing freighters and this park offers that and more. A picnic lunch (there are picnic tables and restrooms) is a nice way to enjoy in the scenery. While there are trails that can be hiked or biked, on this trip, we opt to... More

The best part of Presque Isle was a visit to Blackrocks. It is one of Marquette’s beautiful attractions. Great place to view Lake Superior and to take pictures. I can only imagine what it's like in the fall when the trees are changing colors. It's easy to reach from downtown Marquette and easy to navigate once inside the park.

Happened to be in marquette on the day of the latest sunset of the year. Drove out to lovely little local park. Nice way to end the day after the long drive up.
