Lots to do on Presque Isle! Here's the list of what I can think of: boating, picnics, children's park, ice cream vendor, Moosewood Nature Center, swimming, rock skipping, cliff jumping, kayaking, hiking, biking, running, deer watching, and lots of smiling! Love this place.

This is one of the top scenic locations on Lake Superior. The two mile drive around "the Island" as it's known locally gives you access to shoreline vistas and hidden coves. Lots on natural beauty. Picnic areas and an ice cream store in the summer. Good place to watch for Great Lakes freighters.

Wind blowing, white caps crashing into the pier, guys surfing in wet suits on a snowy day. My family and I will definitely visit this park again on our next visit to Marquette.

I just drove through it, didn't have much time. It was beautiful! Definitely worth a drive. Leave time to get out and enjoy the views--or take a picnic!

This park on Presque Isle was planned by the Olmstead group in New York. It features a drive around the island that is closed in winter and only open on certain days of the week in summer to allow for bikers and walkers to use the road. There are breathtaking views of the rocks and Lake Superior. The park houses... More

This is a wonderful place to drive or you can hike around the island (about 2 miles) or on some trails that are great. On Tuesdays they allow people to hike on the road all the way around the island from 8 a.m. until 11 a.m. I think. It is - a fun was to see the island. Don't miss... More
