Old Mackinac is a wonderful place to visit, not only for the beautiful views, but also to see the wonderful restoration they have done. The low admission price is one of the best values in the area! More

Even if you do not pay to enter, but merely stay outside and shoot photographs, spending time here is worthwhile. Previous reviewers mentioned women dressed in period costume. I did not see them. The lighthouse house and tower are very well done. Excellent bay and bridge views from the top tower. The tower is not wheelchair accessible. Your best bet is to buy the membership for $65 for unlimited people for the lighthouse, Colonial fort, Ft. Mackinaw and the Millcreek park. More
