One stop for all our lighthouse needs

One of the best places to get information for our lighthouse tour in the area. Would recommend them to any light house enthusiast.

We would of loved to go into this place this year; but the attendant was to busy smoking outside and would not give it up. Have been in there before and really enjoyed it; I don't think I will go back for a few years though.

They have great stuff if you love lighthouses. Everything to buy that is lighthouse. Also a great place to obtain history information. They are great that they maintain and restore lighthouses in the area. Membership should be considered. I bought some back issues of the Beacon. Very interesting. Stop buy and support this worthwhile cause!!!

Good location. I am a lighthouse enthusiast and this office full of information on area lighthouses. I liked the staff. No reason to dislike anything here

The largest and finest 501(c)3 non-profit dedicated to the preservation and restoration of lighthouses on the Great Lakes, and to the memory of the people who once served at them. Public education is a huge component of this group's mission as well as getting young people involved to carry on the work. GLLKA has an extensive and informative website with... More

Lighthouse information abounds at the Great Lakes Lighthouse Keepers Association aka GLLKA. Staff are experts on the lighthouses of the Great Lakes. Inconjunction with a couple other parties, GLLKA offers day and multiple day cruises with specific dates and times. Check out their Facebook page, it's filled with beautiful photos.

Driving through Michigan towards Mackinac Bridge is amazing, but when you drive with caution on Mackinac Bridge and see the beautiful sight of Lake Michigan and Lake Huron, you can't help but look in awe and clicking non-stop to share with all. Then getting out to see the lakes that look like oceans is mind-blowing. Step out and enjoy the... More

I seen this place and had to stop. I am so glad I did as the lady working that day was so nice and helpful with my questions about the lighthouses around Michigan. Plus many things to buy and the profit goes to the Great Lakes Lighthouses to keep them open.

This is a standard gift shop. I got what I was looking for which was a magnet. They do have a map of all the lighthouses in the Michigan. Which I found out was more than I thought

The Great Lakes Lighthouses, along with Mackinaw and Mackinaw Island, are what makes Pure Michigan a great way to spend a vocation.
