We took the 10:00 Mighty Mac that goes under the bridge and tells the history. The ferry is a quick and comfortable 20-minute ride with option to sit in the open air top level or covered lower level. Friendly service and flexible return schedule. We thought it was pricey, (with hotel discount, $104 for two adults and two kids, plus... More

The boat ride was great. Did a little sight seeing near the Macinack Bridge before going over th the island.

We took a Migthy Mac departure which swings under the bridge on the way to the island. Well worth the extra 5 minutes.

They always make the transport to the island a nice experience. Well organized clean and on time. They have rewarded my loyalty for years.

We went to Mackinaw Island by way of 2 different Ferry lines. Shepler's was the best! The ride was very smooth and comfortable!

They were very nice, and outstanding with me and my service animal on the boat and off.. The Capt. made sure I was seated and ready to go when we were leaving. Just an overall great time with them.

We took this ferry because if you stay overnight at the Grand Hotel, you can receive a discount on the ferry tickets. We took a 1pm ferry and unbeknownst to us this was the extended version of the ride (only by 15 minutes!). The ferry went under the Mackinac Bridge and there were some interesting facts given over the speaker... More

Fast, Comfortable, and Professional - that is the best way to describe Shepler. Shepler offers fast travel to Mackinac Island combined with free, convenient parking on site, and high professional service (plenty of announcements regarding service, which boat to take and the such). Highly recommended way to getting to the Island.

This is one of 3 ferry lines from Mackinaw City or St. Ignace to the island. Shepler's was very clean, nice staff, and quick. Overall, a pleasant ride. Keep in mind that all the ferries are somewhat expensive for a round trip ($18-25-ish per person), so make sure you're ready to get a full day's worth if you're not staying... More
