Only a couple of miles from our campsite is this jewel of Mackinaw City. Dan and Ben, the two competing lumberjacks, put on an educational but entertaining show. We enjoyed the humor and banter between Dan, Ben, and the MC. We also learned a lot about the formation of the country at the turn of the century and the importance... More

We had a great time cheering on our lumberjack! Just watching what they could do was amazing. Plus they made so many jokes to keep the audience laughing. Show was just over an hour - but such a great time, well worth the money especially with kids.

It's a really close competition during this show! Exciting and fun despite the Host's cheesy jokes. Lots of audience participation makes it even better. Kids loved it! Check it out. Free souvenirs and autographs at the end of the show.

Entertaining, humor and excellent marksmanship and craftmanship. Nice arena and they encourage the audience to participate and choose sides as to which lumberjack they want to see win.

We've been to Hayward, WI, which is kind of the lumberjack capitol of the U.S., so when we pulled up I wasn't expecting much. Boy, can looks be deceiving! It was a great show, with two incredibly talented young men who could do it all. They even kept our young adult daughter/nieces entertained (I'm not sure we were watching the... More

For $10/adult (normally $11/adult, make sure you print $1 coupon off from Jack Pine website), you get about 1 hour of action packed entertainment. You see just enough of each type of competition to get you hooked. Shows start at 7:30 PM daily. Bring you insect repellant, there is a pool of water for log rolling that attracts mosquitoes!

My daughter had a lot fun to watch the two lumberjacks competing each other. She kept screaming and cheering for them. She participated in the game and got a feeble an a free ice-cream. She still keeps talking about it.

We will return to the show if in the area again. It is very entertaining and you become a part of the show.

My husband and I went to the lumberjack show and were very impressed!! The two lumberjacks who were competing against each other were very talented and the crowd was divided into two sides so we could cheer for the lumberjack that was on our side. There was lots of crowd involvement which made it fun! There were many families at... More

This is a great show. I said it is a manly event but it is most fun for the kids. You get to watch real lumberjacks compete in several events. Its a perfect thing to do while you are "up north"! It is both informative and fun and for $36 buck for a family of four the price is right... More
