Went there with 5- and 7-year olds and thought they'd be really bored, but they loved it. The buildings and museums were very interesting, the kids loved walking about the elevated platform on the perimeter, and we even got to see a drum and fife concert. Well worth the price of admission! more

The guides who work here do a great job of making history relatable (as reenactors ) without going over the top. We thought this was pretty good. Happened to catch a week when there was a group set up with an authentic campsite who also did demonstrations like a rifle/musket reliability inspection. Kids (ages 6 and 11) both enjoyed it. more

The fort is great all by itself, but if you're in town on Memorial Day weekend make sure you check out the reenactment.
