Went there with 5- and 7-year olds and thought they'd be really bored, but they loved it. The buildings and museums were very interesting, the kids loved walking about the elevated platform on the perimeter, and we even got to see a drum and fife concert. Well worth the price of admission! more

The guides who work here do a great job of making history relatable (as reenactors ) without going over the top. This place is packed with history. You start your tour with a video, then the re-enactment, then a nice tour and then you can walk around and explore all the houses. I was suprised at how much history there was to see at the forts. The fort in the city is a recreated for where they are currently digging up artififacts and rebuilding the fort as it once was.
