Beautiful "grounds," interesting history - but for the kids, the best part was the adventure tour (an added cost - but worth it). We walked across a rope bridge (we were tethered, so no danger of falling), did a zipline through the forest canopy (gorgeous view), and climbed a QUITE high rock wall. There were also nature trails we didn't... More

This is a great place to learn about this history of the mill creek and to have fun with their adventure package, which includes ziplining over water, a rock wall and a suspension bridge walk. My fiance and I had a blast, it was a nice stop on our vacation.

The adventure section at an extra cost seemed a bit much. They should discount if you elect not to participate. The kids liked the guided tour and the zip line. I will warn you that if you are close to the upper weight limit, you better lift up your feet and back end or you will bump the landing. I... More

Started out at the saw mill where live demonstrations full of history and whimsical banter created a fun learning experience. Afterward, my son and husband went on the Adventure Tour where they learned about nature and ended with the Zip Line. Worth the visit!

My husband and I went on the zip line for the first time, was nice, a fair price to go on the only thing I think it was kind of silly to charge a fee to get in the park and a fee for the zip line, it was alright but had no interest to rock climb or go through... More

Such a wonderful place with very friendly and informative staff. Our zip lining guide was so informative. He spoke of the ecosystem and it's habitat in a simple and fun way for our 7 year old. Same goes for the authentic saw mill demonstration. We are from Connecticut, but if we are ever back in the area we'll be sure... More

PROS: zipline included in the Adventure Tour (for an extra charge); great panoramic views from the lookout tower; mill, rope bridge, great attractions within it; short video within the visitor center/gifts shop; CONS: a lot of walking involved with elevations – could be challenging for unfit individuals; mosquitoes as big as flies ; dirt road/unpaved road into the parking lot;

Many families come for the zip line, but the sawmill demonstration and the trails are worth the visit

My wife and stopped here last month and spent a very enjoyable couple of hours exploring this living museum. The interpreters, such as Mike, are extremely knowledgeable and entertaining. Learned a Lot about the economics of the fur trade back in Colonial times. The working Mill is cool, and the design ingenious! Great place to explore!
