Very interesting place to go for a family I could not believe what it was like to cut wood in the past. Prices are not to expensive for a family and lots af trails.

We had visited here before, but we went again because it was part of the multi-site ticket package we bought. The best part was the man at the saw mill who explained how they used to cut boards. He showed us how the creek helped power the saw. It was really cool! That alone was worth it. But then after,... More

We spent so much time at Fort Michilimackinac / Colonial Michilimackinac that we almost missed getting to Mill Creek Discovery Park before it closed, which would have been a colossal let down, as they have a zip line that kids can ride, too (most at home require riders to be 80 pounds). We got there and quickly made our way... More

I took my senior citizen parents to visit. We all loved the presentation by the sawyer about saw pit, mill, and the process of cutting logs into lumber. We came when schools were having field trips and had a quiet walk on the trails and did not feel like there were too many people in the park. My husband and... More

Unfortunately, we didn't have them along, but after they're beyond diapers, they'd enjoy this. So will the grownups, when they come to understand how advanced and effective our primitive technologies were in there own time. For example, you'll see how advanced an early sawmill actually was. The kids, however, will discover how fun a present day zipline actually is! Each... More

Interesting history site with museum, gift shop and zip lining that is not too scary for the kids. Great place to wear them out before dinner!

Great place for the family. Spend at least 2 to 3 hours. Wonderful view from tower. Mill creek was scenic and flowing fast. Staff very friendly and informative.

The historic mill has an interesting and important piece of history to the Mackinaw region. If you are lucky and get a demonstration of the saw working it will be well worth the stop. There are some activities for the kids and those who are not use to outdoor sports (tree walk, zip line, rock wall climb); but these are... More

Whether you have 2 hours or a whole day to explore, Mill Creek doesn't disappoint. We did the adventure tour which included a zip line ride at the end of a guided nature walk tour. Make sure you attend one of the saw mill demonstrations. Very informative and fun!

We visited with a school trip and had so much fun we went back with our family. The adventure park was really cool and our younger kids had a lot of fun. We liked how there was three different activities to do. The treetop walk was our favorite. Mr Ed gave us a tour of the saw mill. It amazes... More
