Lots to do here - great family destination. Granddaughter & daughter enjoyed the zip line. Really a beautiful setting also. Don't miss this place!

This is a unique park not only for the sights, but learning about some of the history of what had to be done to mill all the lumber to take to the island and all the hard work to do so. The water wheel makes you wonder why we don't use this forgotten technology to produce alternative power any longer.... More

A real disappointment for my sister-in-law and me. A nice enough park but not nearly worth the entrance cost. Advertisesitself as a working mill but I've seen better demonstrations with hilljacks cutting slabs. I do think children might like it but I would not recommend the zip lining for older adults (Hocking Canopy Tours best) but the tweens seemed to... More

Make sure you walk one of the trails before leaving this park. Michigan has many great woods and this is one of them. Also climb the tower to get a bird's eye view of the area including Mackinaw Island and Mackinaw Bridge. The climb is worth it!!

We like to stop and visit the hiking trails every time we are in Mackinaw City. The grist mill is very interesting as well.

it was a very interesting way to spend the morning. Not sure how young kids would like it , but we thought it was very educational.

We had a lot of fun here, really nice people and spent 1/2 the day at this place. We did the zip line, and my children climbed the rock wall, I have two teens and they love to get into trouble, and these two things they loved... then on to the mill. enjoyed learning..

We went to Mill Creek just for the zip-line tour. The zip-line is pretty short--maybe a couple hundred yards. It was fun, but not scarry. My kids--aged 9 and 11, participated and were not at all afraid.

My daughter and I had a fabulous time! What really made the experience great was the staff who shared about the history of the park (who lived there a hundred years ago, how the settlers sawed wood, the water saw, nature trails. The zip line was fun. Climbed the rock wall and had a beautiful view of the water from... More

First time zip liner! And the experience was awesome! Great park well maintained proffessional staff. A must do! Just 3 Minutes south of town easy to get to and in.
