The kids loved it! I didn't do the adventure tour (which is $8.00 in addition to the 8.00 entrance fee and totally worth it). It was awesome to see the expressions on their faces as they came zipping through. My husband and my dad also enjoyed the view and ride. :-)

We were pretty excited to visit this park as our entire family loves history! It was a good value for our money. The trails were lovely and the observation deck had an incredible view! The best part was watching the demonstration done by the sawyer! He was very knowledgeable! Seeing the sawmill operate was very cool. We visited the island... More

This place was great. We did the adventure trail $8. It included a suspended canopy trail, zipline and a rock wall. The kids had a blast. We also walked around and checked out the grounds. They also have a working sawmill and a basic log hewing demonstration. It was impressive to see the sawmill at work. A must visit if... More

Lots of things to do here and for a reasonable price. The Adventure Park- zipline, climbing wall, and rope bridge was enjoyed by all. The saw mill and demonstration was great, very informative and great for the kids to have fun and learn some of our history at the same time. Would recommend for families!

Great historical information and access to wilderness. Guided tour was informative. Best part for all was the zip line. All ages and great ride.

Definitely worth a visit if you're in the Mackinaw City area. Great little park with an old mill and trails. We spent $8 extra and got to do the zipline, bridge, and rock climbing wall.

We only had a few hours, but would have loved to stay the whole day. The zipline and rock wall were lots of fun and very affordable. The working saw mill was was pretty impressive too.

We visited today and my husband and I enjoyed it a lot. The speaker was very knowledgeable and demonstrated how the sawmill works. We brought our 6 & 9 year olds and they were pretty bored. I'm glad we went, however, this place is better suited for older, more patient, kids.
