I love to bike the island, and bring my own bike which costs an additional $7.50 on the ferry. There's also plenty of bike rental available on the island if bringing your own is not an option. We loved our visit to the Island. We opted not to do an expensive (and crowded) carriage ride or rent bikes. Instead our family of four arrived early by Arnold's ferry line and chose to hoof it on our own feet.
