My husband, three boys (7-13) and I visited. The butterflies were nice--many blue morphos, but what our boys really enjoyed were the giant bugs (collected, not living) displayed in the next room. We couldn't believe such huge bugs really exist! They also had some living things like turtle, lizards, a tarantula, and a scorpion. Price was a little high--anyone over... More

Probably the reason I enjoyed this so much is because I asked questions. There was an incredibly informed guide, (I believe she was a Park Ranger) but when I first entered the butterfly area people were self guided. When I asked a question about the advertised chrysalises about to open, we went back to a room I had passed through... More

I've been to four different "butterfly houses," and I would have to rank this one at the bottom of my list due to size and lack of variety. I was extremely underwhelmed upon paying $8 and stepping into the small building's butterfly area. There were a lot of butterflies easily viewable, but there were not as many varieties as I... More

We visited with my 19 month old. He was too young, didn't understand not to touch flowers or butterflies. Got some really cute pics and video though because he was fascinated. His admission was also free. The young guides were very knowledgable and enthusiastic. Be prepared for a extensive gift shop, with items right at kid level, upon exit. No... More

Of course, we love butterflies and always find out something new each time we go to butterfly houses. They had an interesting assortment of butterflies which we hadn't seen before. For children it is great, too.

We almost missed going to this butterfly house because we had already gone to the one near the stables. Glad we didn't miss it. It was a little bit expensive for the experience - there was not as much interaction with the butterflys here as there was in the other house, but seeing the cocoons was cool -and the Live... More

Our Grandchildren loved it. They were fascinated and want to go back every time we visit to the Island.

Beautiful butterflies and flowers--not real roomy so when its busy it gets overcrowded. Workers seemed bored with us.

Visited the Butterfly House today and enjoyed seeing all the butterflies zipping around, even landing on us. The problem I ran into is that the butterfly room was so hot and humid I was having physical difficulty with it. Sweat was pouring off my face and I couldn't keep it patted dry. This caused me to want to leave the... More

Wonderful experience with nature. Great photo ops. Educational signs, which I took pics of for my students when we study butterflies. Great for kids and adults!
