The brunch is incredible! Worth the money, be prepared to dine for 2 hours. I have dined all over this planet and this was one of the most wonderfuld and magical experiences ever.

My husband has played The Jewel and The Woods courses as part of a package. He enjoyed the experience, as he has purchased this special golf package several times. He prefers The Woods course. A horse drawn carriage takes the player from The Jewel course to The Woods, which he thought was neat.

Part of package and glad we did it. I'd give the course a 5 or 6 but the experience & views a 9 or 10! We thought the back nine was nicer than the front.

I have to admit I don't golf, but enjoy riding along with my husband. I like the Jewel Course, but actually like the second nine, the Woods Course, the best. And the drive up to the Woods from the Jewel in a horse drawn cart adds an extra pleasure. Lunch at the Woods restaurant is basic, but the building itself... More

Golf course was just ok. I was staying at the Grand with a package that stated golf was free but had to pay a cart fee. The cart fee ended up being $80.00. There is nothing special about this course.

I played this course in mid-June. It is basically an executive style course with 3 par 3's and 6 very short par 4's. The course was in pretty rough condition with several fairway areas burned out and one green unplayable due to weather damage. The course is tight with small, tricky greens. With the exception of one, the greens were... More

A lovely old place which lives up to its name. High end, over-the-top décor, nice linens, best housekeeper in the world, TRACY, great food in a well-run dining room. Two reasons I am not giving five stars: Unfriendly and unhelpful concierge staff (they work to avoid eye contact with guests) AND people are stationed outside to ask you if you... More

The luncheon buffet in this beautiful hotel was a wonderful moment back in time. The hotel is so beautifully maintained and the buffet was abundant and delicious. Even though there were "100s" of Girl Scouts there that day eating lunch with us, we thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. A self guided tour of the hotel was also enjoyable. The grounds were lovely... More

It was an absolutely beautiful course. The first 9 holes are completely different from the second 9, but that added to our enjoyment.

This is a very scenic and well-maintained course and not overly challenging, which suited us. A leisurely, enjoyable horse cart takes you from the front to the back nine--unique!
