A gorgeous view of the lake through arch rock. It can be accessed from the top via the horse drawn carriage from downtown. It can also be accessed from the road via the stairway. You can view Arch Rock from the bike/carriage path, climb a LOT of stairs, take a carriage tour right to the top, or walk from Fort Mackinac half a mile. I've done them all. I suggest the tour or walking from the fort to Arch Rock. It's stunning and well worth the effort.

The interesting arch was carved by nature, it sit ababove a cliff overlooking the lake below. Walk down the hundreds of steps and you are on lake level where the road takes you back to the main street of this fascinating town.

It's not too far of a walk and once you get there the view is spectacular. Take your camera because you will be able to see a panoramic view of that side of the Island

It's a very beautiful natural attraction but be prepared on a summer day to have a lot of people joining you on a very small bridge to see it.

150 feet tall overlooking Lake Michigan. Spans over 50 feet. Easy to get to. Great to get to by island carriage ride or biking.
