I come to the island every year for the Lilac Festival and I adore the carriage tours. It gives you a chance to sit & relax as well as see things you normally wouldn't see by walking. if you want to see all aspects of the island & hear some interesting & funny stories then you must take a carriage tour. They are pricey, but well worth it. I didn't even rent a bike, since the tour took me everywhere I wanted to go anyway. & it stops at the butterfly house & you can look around... more

This tour is divided into 2 parts. The horses need the rest & time to get water on a HOT day. The first part was from the road by the ferry.
