We went on this tour this past weekend and the guide was terrific. She offered insight into the paranormal hot spots on the island. The Fort, church and several of the stores and hotels on the island have a deep history in the paranormal and it was great to hear the stories. We did the Dead of the Night tour... More

Was on Mackinac last week and took the Haunts of Mackinac Tour. Our guide, Allie, was very knowledgable and made the tour interesting and fun. We had been to the island for the past 14 years and thought we had discovered most of the great things to do. This was a highlight of all those years and we will definitely... More

Well done tour with great stories - our guide, Chloe, was excellent, leading us on the Downtown Tour, which begins in town and leads us back to Mission Point Resort, (where we were staying), with stops at multiple locations along the way. I am not really a believer, but the stories were still fun, and well crafted. It lasts just... More

Been on many tours throughout the US. This was the best one yet. We only had 5 in our group which made it even better. Make sure to go in fall.

Went on this tour a few days ago with my two sisters. It was a lot of fun. And even if you aren't into the whole ghost thing that's ok because the tour is full of historic information too. Our tour guide was extremely knowledgeable in the history of Mackinac Island and of course its creepy past! Me and my... More

did the midnight tour a few years ago. very interesting. kind of scarey. however, when I went to the museum I knew something strange was there. went upstairs by myself to check out the rooms. all of a sudden the air felt very stagnant. it was like someone closed every opening up and I couldn't breathe. I definitely felt a... More

Last year we did the downtown tour and the ghost hunt tour all in one night and it was very fun. So when we returned to the island this year we made sure we did another tour. We did the dead of the night tour with Kimberly who was very knowledgeable about the island stories and legends. Again we had... More

Take the late night tour around midnight. The history aspect was interesting. The island has more then just horses and awesome hotels. I had no idea it was an Indian burial ground! Worth the $25.

My sister and I visited Mackinac Island in July 2013 and one of the best activities we did was Haunts of Mackinac. We took ALL the three tours conducted by Haunts of Mackinac. And they were ALL GREAT!!!! Each tour had something different to offer, even though a couple of stories were repeated in the three tours (the important ones),... More

We did the Dead of Night tour for $25 each. Went from 10pm to midnight. The tour guide was very nice and knew some decent history of the island. I was told on the phone that the "Dead of Night" tour wasnt for children under 16 and that they've had over 150 men cry and run in fear. Let me... More
