Great winter experience for cross country, hiking and what I love to do...photography. If you don't mind the cold this park is for you in the winter, no camping that I know of but a great day experience.

I am convinced this is one of the best parks here in Michigan! It is clean, beautiful, and has a lot of activities to offer! You won't be disappointed! Make sure to take a hike to the light house. Bring a camera, the pictures are beautiful!

We love to go to the beach and play in the surf. When my husband and son have had enough lolling around in the sun, they leave me and my book and go hiking on one of the many beautiful trails. I also love to hike to the lighthouse. Usually we don't bring food and eat hotdogs and ice cream... More

If you're visiting Ludington this is a must see. Beach line on Lake Michigan (colder water) or beach line on Hamlin Lake (Warmer Water) endless hiking trails through woods, and sand dunes. Plenty of wildlife for the family to see. Don't forget to bring a fishing pole in the fall for the Salmon fishing and you can boat, kayak, paddle... More

A nice getaway from the town of Ludington to enjoy the water and especially the dunes. Pack a picnic with drinks and beach towels and listen to the waves!!

Ludington State Park is a beautiful park. The park has scenic sand dunes, ponds, marshlands, campgrounds, forests and many more. We enjoyed watching wildlife, hiking, biking and walking on the sand. It was a great experience.

This is now one of my favorite state parks in Michigan, just for all the activities and features available. There's a great beach with a stunning beach house, the lighthouse, fishing near the dam, hiking wooden trails across small islands, kayaking, biking, camping, birding...we loved it. (Just be careful on the main road going there and don't pull off the... More
