Rafting river, Lake Michigan and Hamlin Lake, endless trails (especially love the island trails) hike to Big Sable...spend a day or a week!

well maintained campground great fishing unbelievable views and beach it's got it all. we also went to the beach in Ludington in the lighthouse and watched the Sun sets absolutely stunning

What an amazingly beautiful place, great stop on our West Michigan tour! Loved the trails and damn. Just a great place to enjoy nature.

To get to the lighthouse you pay an entry fee into the park $9 vehicle and you then park and walk through a large campground to get to the trail. You could also bike. We love Ludington State Park, have visited many times. You can park along the road before entering the main park and climb a short dune for Lake Michigan access. Gorgeous, clean, wide open beaches. Do the lighthouse trail for sure! Make sure to climb it too! This State park is spot on! Plan a day at least

Beautiful park on the shores of Lake Michigan. Very popular and license plates from most very state were spotted. Park is also located on the east by Hamlin lake. Great stop for camping.

The most beautiful beach in Michigan. This park fills up a year in advance if you are a camper. The campground area is always full and kids are everywhere.
