Lansing has really brought this area up from the depths....fun little shops and restaurants. Great little place for taking a stroll, especially down by the fish ladder. They have a variety of festivals throughout the year that cater to all ages. Definitely a place to check out.

Free parking available in central lot within walking distance of shops and places to eat. Even on a rainy day you can duck in and out of the many shops for a nice day of shopping. All of the shop owners were friendly and willing to help me find items of special interest. The Brenke fish ladder and River Walk... More

Old Town is a small business section in north Lansing that has little shops, art galleries, and restaurants. Worth the trip to visit.

Of course we love their Music Festival's and other themed occasions, but Old Town is simply a great place to go and spend a few hours going through the eclectic shoppes, Galleries, and bars that make up this ever evolving neighborhood. There is always something fun and novel to discover and enjoy.

Not much to do. Had read that area had great shopping and restaurants (not so good). Shops closed early and not much to speak of for dining options.

Went to Old town for date night. It was a lot of fun. Great Mexican restaurant and a little boutiques.

When visiting the area, you should stop in Old Town Lansing to visit the trendy shops and restaurants. There is a nice selection to see in this area of the city. There are some great gift shops and art galleries and their selection of restaurants are some of the best in the city. The only problem is that the side... More

We were attracted to this area due to the Jazz and Blues festival. We loved the "Creole Pub" (I believe that was the name of it).

A great area full of great artisan shops and two great food venues. Nestled on the Grand River, Old Town offers a great river trail that will take you downtown Lansing. When visiting make sure to stop by at Meat for great barbecue, or Pablo's for authentic Mexican Cuisine. I work a stone throw away from old town and frequent... More

Some of my favorite stores are in Old Town. Katalyst Gallery is a must see for gifts and jewelry. Chierie International Market boasts African wares. Lamb's Gate Antiques has clothing and items from the 40's and 50's and the MICA Art Gallery features interesting shows and pieces from local artists. The Old Town General Store is also a must see...
