I hadn't been back to Lansing in about 30 years and was so shocked to see an area that I remember as very run-down and unsafe is now a delightful, little funky, fun area! Cute shops, good restaurants, interesting and filled with vitality. Definately worth a visit.

Old Town Lansing is one of my favorite places to visit in Greater Lansing. I love the artistic urban vibe. There are cool shops and good places to eat. If you feel like just enjoying nature, go down and sit by the Grand River and watch the river flow off the dam. If you feel like getting some exercise, hit... More

I live here, and have for 15 years. There are unique shops, galleries and nice places to eat. There are frequent festivals on the weekends. It is a great place to explore, beautiful old buildings right on the river.

I justice this part of Lansing. It has a number of interesting, even quirky things to see. There are some wonderful shops here that really need more traffic to survive, nothing else like them around. You can find anything from very nice handbags, exotic soaps, unique gardening items to local art. there are a couple interesting restaurants, including BBQ and... More

There is a variety of artsy, antique and boutique shops ideally for just exploring and finding large and small trinkets and treasures. Good fun afternoon for a couple or a group of friends. And of course some fun places to dine. Our favorite is the newly expanded "Meat" or Cosmos.

This is a great part of Lansing to walk around and see. Some bars, cafes and restaurants, and a lot of eclectic shops. The buildings, architecture, and overall atmosphere need to be experienced if in the area! The only think I think would make Old Town even more appealing is a handful more restaurants......

Several restaurants in this area are amazing, I especially like Meat for BBQ. This is a nice place to walk around, visit shops or take pictures, overall a nice place to spend a lazy afternoon.

We had to check out the festival. Beer tents, items to buy with logo on it, German foods to try. My fiancee tried all the meats and I tried desserts. Parking for the event was just on the streets with parking meters.
