The house is beautifully decorated for Christmas at the turn of the 20th century. Lighted Christmas trees on the balcony and porches welcome guests to this historical house. Rooms are decorated as though the family were still in residence. The music room's Christmas tree, glowing with white lights, sets the tone for the season. The Turner-Dodge House is a beautifully restored house in a beautiful Heritage Garden setting along the Grand River north of Michigan's State Capitol Building about a mile on the other side of the river.
