I took my 2 year old son here and it was a bit old for him to enjoy. He liked the bubble area, but overall he didn't get much out of it. I would recommend it for older kids. Though, I myself was a bit bored. It's interesting, but you can do it all in under 30 minutes. I feel... More

Took my three young grandchildren for an afternoon of adventure. They loved the foam block, huge water experiment room, the house where they could try plumbing, etc. Each room offered several activities for any gender and multiple ages. There is a special room for toddlers and preschool children. The summer art room, provided the chance to create a piece of... More

We decided to drive up to Lansing to go here. It was an awesome time. The kids took a slime making class, discovered nanos, bubblecreation, lasers, electricity. We found out how hard we throw a baseball shattering our dreams of being professionals! The only thing that was a bit off was the main rooms had no air conditioning. We were... More

We have been here many times over the years and the kids always find plenty to do. There have been a few new exhibits added since our last visit...the nature stations and shopping play area. We always do the hands on exhibits and encourage reading and understanding the principles of the exhibit. It was a bit frustrating this last visit,... More

Love taking my little charge here on our nanny trips. The baby room is perfect! Can find a lot to do for any age.

Great place for kids, large and small. Lots of hands on exhibits to keep you engaged. They also run nice summer camps for kids.

I can see younger kids enjoying the interactive activities and various displays, but not so much for the adults. The games and postings will teach your kids about science and have fun in the process, but the adults might become a little bored. I think the enjoyment for the adults comes in seeing the kids have fun.

Great place to take the grandkids, small enough to see all the venues, with a few venues that change frequently.

I took my 9 year old son here and he had a blast. Don't let the exterior fool you. This place is big and has a lot to offer. We stayed for 4 hours and didn't do everything. My only critique would be that some of the exhibits weren't working properly.
