I enjoy going to the farmers market every Saturday with my young ones. They have a wide variety of fresh produce grown locally and a array of different vendors selling baked goods and home decor. I attended the nite market in July which I think they hav another one coming up in mid August. This place reminds me of a... More

There's always something that isn't available at chain grocery stores. Although it's disappointing to see farmers buying produce from out-of-state to sell, given Michigan's late springs, there wouldn't be much locally grown for them to sell until July. Lots of odd items, too, such as home-baked dog biscuits, wood crafts, potted plants and herbs to grow at home, and delicacies... More

A trip to the Kalamazoo Farmer's Market is a great way to start the weekend. Lots of options and different vendors - you can find a variety of produce and other food items for a reasonable price. The ready-to-eat food trucks are also great - I'm a big fan of La Guatamalteca taco truck. There are also a variety of... More

We went to the Bank Street Farmer's Market for the first time this morning and were pleasantly surprised with the size and variety of items being sold! Of course there were a lot of fresh fruits/veggies but there was also baked goods, flowers, soaps, hula hoops etc. being sold. There was a gentleman playing an accordion at one of the... More

From fresh produce (mostly local) to live entertainment to handmade crafts created by local artisans, our intergenerational family found it an entertaining way to spend Saturday morning. People are friendly and prices are reasonable. It's the real deal old-time farmer's market from "back in the day." It was a joyful experience, and I walked away with great crafts and delicious... There was a huge variety and nicely organized. The only bad thing was traveling back home to Illinois that day without a cooler so I could not... More

I love taking my family here on Sat mornings. We browse the many vendors, purchasing fresh fruit and veggies, as well as herbs and flowers. We also can buy a lot of our meats from local places that taste so much better than grocery store meats. You do need to get their early if you want to be get popular... More
