this is one of the best courses i have ever played.. the views are terrific and the course is challenging.

Timberstone combines the woodsy layout of a northern Michigan golf course with dramatic elevation changes. Tough but fair, and in outstanding shape. This is certainly worth the drive to play; the afternoon price was very affordable. If you are just playing one course in the UP--this should be it.

Beautiful course with a ton of wildlife. They keep this course in great shape and is worth the trip to Iron Mountain.

This is a lovely course that is very well maintained. If only it were built on a little more property so you couldn't see 2-3 other fairways side by side it would be even better. Even so, we loved it. Saw very tame deer on 4-5 holes, which was a treat.

I have played most of the courses in Northern Michigan. This is one of my top 3 courses ever. They took an amazing chunk of unspoiled land and made a slice of golf heaven.
