Cool breezes, delicious picnic fair, and an evening on the lake, what could be better? The Holland Princess delivers! The boat offers two levels - the lower deck is air-conditioned with large windows to gaze out on the beautiful waters of Lake Michigan and Macatawa. The upper deck - is mostly shaded - but open air and allows the very... More

We recently had a family reunion in Holland, MI. Looking for activities for a group of 36, ranging in ages from 8 mos. to mid 70's can be a challenge. The Holland Princess was perfect. We took the lunch cruise that runs from 12:00 - 2:00. Everyone in our party enjoyed it. The staff were friendly and helpful. The captain... More

My husband and I had a great time on our 2-hour lunch cruise. It was sprinkling rain on and off, sometimes fairly hard, so we wished they would have put the cover on the top deck. There was karaoke on the upper deck for the ride back. There isn't a kitchen on board so lunch was simple with sandwiches and... More

My family really enjoyed this. We spent last weekend in the Holland area. I had heard of the Holland Princess, but had not made reservations because we had other things planned and was not sure if we could be there in time for the 6:00 departure. I ended up calling at 5:00. The lady I talked to was so nice... More

Although the staff on board were friendly and willing to please the setup as a whole was disappointing. The paddle boat interior was dated and everything you touched felt sticky. The buffet was just average at best. Cash bar or water/coffee. Not much to view along the way and the sound system made it impossible to understand the Captain. We have... More

Food was very good. It was bbq chicken, breaded shrimp, (which ran empty, no seconds on those), mash potatoes, fruit, Cesar salad, rolls. Cheese cake or chocolate cake for dessert. Cruise was disorganized. It was ok, not worth the price.

We enjoyed this cruise. The food was OK--not great, but good. The staff was friendly and the service good. The commentary provided by the Captain was interesting. Try to get a table near the buffet, that way you will be first to eat and can move to the top deck sooner. The desert served on the top deck was yummy,... More

Pleasantly surprised at the good time we had. I read the reviews and almost didn't take the cruise because of the bad reviews, that would have been a mistake for us. Beautiful evening, crew very nice, meal was good, nice experience. It is very import to our small family owned business, for people to write good, reviews, it seems people... More

Food was 1st class and very good. Staff was very friendly. The only thing lacking was not enough tables. The boat's appearance was a little rough and could use a little updating. Overall a very good experience and look forward to doing it again soon.

This was to be a BIG DEAL for my new hubby, me, and my maid of honor. The gal on the phone who took our reservation asked if we were celebrating anything: I said YES: My husband and I just got married, and our maid of honor will be accompanying!" We were the FIRST in line to pay our $50/person... More
