This was to be a BIG DEAL for my new hubby, me, and my maid of honor. The gal on the phone who took our reservation asked if we were celebrating anything: I said YES: My husband and I just got married, and our maid of honor will be accompanying!" We were the FIRST in line to pay our $50/person... More

We enjoyed our view of beautiful Lake Macatawa aboard the Holland Princess. If you are going on the boat for more entertainment than that you might be disappointed. The captain pointed out landmarks along the route and shared a bit of history of the area. The historical mentions were somewhat weak and perhaps not as accurate as they should or... More

We bought our parents a weekend at a B&B and a dinner cruise package for the Holland Princess, for their 50th wedding anniversary. They traveled three hours to get to the Holland area. The day of the dinner cruise they were told that they would not be going out due to not having enough people booked for the dinner cruise.... More

I had read other reviews of the food and was a bit reluctant to pay for a dinner cruise that might not offer much in the way of dinner but I was most pleasantly surprised. We had chicken, which my husband said was very good. We also had butterfly shrimp with a light cruchy breading. I thought the shrimp was... More

My wife and I had actually planned to sail on the holland princess on the evening of our tenth anniversary, however approx 3 hours before our time we got a call saying that the cruise was cancelled and that we had the choice of canceling or going the following evening. No offer to discount our cruise for the inconvenience, pretty... More

This was a pleasant cruise around Lake Macatawas. Upstairs there was a guy playing the guitar and he was also doing karaoke. However, the weather was rainy so we stayed below where it was nice and warm, but the views of the lake were just as nice. The captain talked about interesting facts around the lake. The weather didn't allow us... More

I will admit that I recently traveled on "The Odyssey" in Chicago so I have high expectations of dinner cruises. The Holland Princess is a small family-owned business. Dinner is $50 per person and included BBQ chicken, mashed potatoes, salad, fruit, and rolls. They served cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. They explained some of the "areas of interest" as... More

Was very nice. The only thing I would change would be maybe uniforms for the staff. Fun evening. It was different. I didn't bring my children but the dinner is very child friendly. The chicken and shrimp was a good dinner choice

Our family of 4 (kids are 23 and 19) went on this cruise. We had reservations for a night, but due to a broken brake line, we couldn't get there. I called and they SO NICELY put us on the next available cruise! It was well worth the money!! It's a small cruise. You "cruise" on the top deck and... More
