Visited on Oct, so the fall was on it's moment and there were no tullips. Anyway, there is a really nice shop and you can see the owner crafting those dutch wooden shoes. Really nice! You can also personalize a few souveniers, so stop for a quick visit anytime of the year!

We visited during tulip time in Holland, so the tulip beds were fine, but the rest of the gardens were pathetic, full of weeds and neglected. the buildings and other structures all seemed tired. I did not feel the visit was worth the $10 entrance fee, and I saw just as many gorgeous tulip beds all over Holland for free.

We stopped during the off season so the gardens were closed, but the shops were open. The show maker was very accommodating and showed us how wooden shoes were made and answered all of our questions. He was great. The garden shop has everything you would want, and the Bison were fascinating.

This place is a kitchy old time-y tourist spot. We stop here every year for bulbs and they are always friendly and helpful. Our kids and now grandkids love to watch them making wooden shoes .

Beautiful and extensive tulip varieties grown here...visited at Tulip Time with friends. Egads (!) $10 per to walk in the gate, once inside you're free to walk up & down....and up, then down the rows upon rows of tulips. Disappointment came after waiting in a long line to order some select bulbs for our own yard. $ 10 worth of... More

If you do not have budget to travel to Europe to see the Tulips, Holland and Veldheer farms is your next best option. They have about 3 Million Tulip flowers. They do a good job staggering the peak Tulip flower bloom so that it is spread around 3-4 weeks in May. The best time to visit is obviously first 2... More

To get to talk to the shoe carver, ask questions, and watch him use his machines was a real treat. I am glad that they are preserving this bit of Dutch heritage.

Thoroughly enjoyed shopping for Tulip bulbs, oh my what a lot of varieties! Every color, every size, all named so properly! Stopped to stock up on bulbs to plant this fall, next spring I'll have the most beautiful gardens in town! Friendly staff and very helpful!
