Photographer's dream. Flowers are abundant which allows for a few butterfly sightings. Windmill, bridge, gazebo, unique buildings, and well maintained grounds.

If you have about 1-11/2 to spend this is a nice visit. My older kids were a little bored by the windmill tour, but I thought it was the best. The tour guide explained so much and we traveled up a few levels of the windmill and out on the deck. Great pictures too. The dance the natives performed was... More

Go back into time . Children may Ride an old carousal. Quaint Informative and peaceful when we were there off season, however in May the massive amount of color and joy the tulips bring makes the crowds worth joining. Our family enjoyed seeing a real operating windmill and the tour is great! Loved it.

This is a small garden in Holland MI The windmill was brought over from the Netherlands and then restored. You can actually tour the windmill and purchase some of the flour that is made there. There is also a carousel, organ and miniature village. This would have been even greater had the tulips been blooming

This is a place we used to come when I was little and my Mom really liked. The people are friendly; it is affordable; the surroundings are truly lovely.

While my wife and I enjoyed seeing the windmill, my two children (4&2) were rather bored and found more excitement at the playground by the gift shop.

I am sure this place is beautiful in during the tulip blooming time and would be great for picture taking but at the end of July, it's just another standard tourist attraction. The big draw is the windmill, which you can take a tour of and see how they were used in the 'old country.' Not a bad place to... More

We stopped on our way home from northern Michigan. Although it was not tulip time, the grounds were lovely! There wasn't much of a crowd, so we were tour comfortably and unhurriedly! The windmill was lovely and the tour was informative! We enjoyed the dancers and the told us much about their country and customs. The shops were interesting!

The setting is gorgeous and the flowers are incredible. Seeing dancers at the windmill and hearing the organ are fun. They also have a carousel for the kids. Great place.

It was very interesting. The dutch dancers provided an insight into Dutch culture and garments. Then one acted as a docent and took us through every level of the windmill explaining how it was made, how it worked, etc. Very well done.
