Dutch Village is very quaint with all the canals, ducks and Dutch heritage. We spent about 3 hours looking around the village. They have lots of exhibits and quite a few demonstrations-we especially enjoyed the Dutch dancing demonstration. The petting barn was a big hit with the little kids. We had lunch at the Hungry Dutchman Cafe. The food was... More

We took our 3-year old to Dutch Village a couple weeks ago and had a wonderful time! I don't think I'd take a child much younger than 3 - they wouldn't be able to ride things on their own or really enjoy it all. Our 3-year old soaked everything right in, though. According to him, his favorite parts were the... More

My husband and I, along with our three young children (ages 9,7,4) had a nice time. Overpriced...yes! The kids did enjoy what was offered, which was a petting zoo area, an oversized shoe slide, a carousel, a swing, and a self "driven" train cart, which are all included in the price of admission. Be sure to use the $1 off... More

My husband and I took our 8 year old granddaughter and her cousin to visit Nelis Dutch Village. It was so relaxing and fun for them and we were able to let them run ahead to see different things in the village without worry of them getting lost. They especially enjoyed the petting farm and went back several times to... More

Generally, I am not a fan of fake European experiences like Nelis Dutch Village, and, truth be told, it is a little corny. However, there were enough fun & interesting things to overshadow that. First of all, I appreciated being able to walk my dog around the village--it is very dog friendly, so that is really nice. My teens enjoyed... More

Ten bucks to get in for very little is quite a ticket, but the souvenir shop lacks for nothing in the variety and quantity of things for sale, not to mention the range of prices, with the lower priced things not being cheap trash either. Beware, the whole city closes on Sundays!!! Only a couple attractions are open.

When I first went intothe park I thought "Oh great I wasted my money". With this in mind, I then went into the rest of my vist with an open mind. I started to like it when we were able to "walk a goat". They have a carousel that is part of the park fee. Also there was the swing... More

I went to college at Hope and driven by this many times. It was our first visit while on vacation and it was great. My preschoolers loved this place. The huge slide was a hit as were the swing and merry-go-round. They also really enjoyed the animals. The dancers were fun to watch, too. I wish we had allowed more... More

Dutch Village is a lovely park that showcases the hertiage of the nearby area (Holland, Michigan). The young staff members take pride in their work and are extremely friendly. Children will love the petting zoo, swing ride and carousel. The dance demonstration is impressive and the shops offer unique items. The candle shop offers candles that are more appropriately described... More

Our Girl Scout Troop had a wonderful time visiting the Dutch Village. We had a personal guide that was incredible with the girls and also offered advice for the rest of our visit. The girls loved walking the goats and riding the swing and carousel. They watched candle, pottery, cheese and shoe making and participated in a dance lesson. As... More
