This place is GREAT! The employees are instantly like FAMILY! Very helpful and interacted with us like we were all old friends! We laughed and talked and shared stories. It was absolutely fanTAStic!!!!. The variety of merchandise was so wide and interesting things, I wanted to buy one of everything. Prices are not at all what I expected to find.... more

Nelis' Dutch Village is a treat for the entire family. From replicas of an authentic farm house and barn with real animals, to gift shops that contain every imaginable gift you could want, to folk dancers wearing authentic costumes with the wooden shoes, to an old carousel and carnival swing...it just doesn't get any better than this! Let your children... more

We had the pleasure of once again visiting the Dutch Village in Holland, Michigan. Our 2 year old grand daughter enjoys wandering through the village. She observes the many nice flowers and gardens, loves to ride the carousel, pet the animals, feed the ducks, and tries to walk a goat. She always has a great time, and looks forward to... more

We recently visted the village and couldn't believe the $12 admission price. There was hardly anything to do or see for that matter. I have a 6 & 3 year old and the only fun they had was on the wooden shoe slide. The only fun I had out of this visit was when we saw the dancers and one... more

My husband and I met my best friend and her 2 year old daughter here on a Monday. There were two or three field trips there so the couple rides were busy but the kids seem to treat the 2 year old nicely on the slide. We didn't try any of the other rides with her. The historical aspect was... more

We enjoyed Dutch Village with our toddler. He liked riding the carousel and we walked a goat. We also saw some dutch dancers and went in the giant wooden shoe slide. We went inside the shops which were nice. It was overpriced, but I would recommend it for families with toddlers. more

My husband and I just spent a week near Holland, Michigan and decided to visit the Dutch Village. The cost was $16.00 each for a combo ticket, which would also get us into Windmill Island, which was a short drive from the Village. When we arrived, there were only several people at the park. I was actually confused on what... more

We stopped in at dutch village and it was very disappointing. We were 2 of about 10 people in the entire park, there was nothing going on, it was really small, and the admission fee was way to high. I will not go again. more

When you're Dutch (as we are) it's irresistible to make a stop at the Holland Village, just to see what they came up with. And we weren't disappointed: all stereotypes were combined in one little village with just one Dutch person on the premises (a Dutch lady in the coffee shop/ diner). You get the wooden shoes, the flowers, the... more

My two kids, ages 12 & 15, and I, a 50 year old single mother, visited on July 8, 2007. I had been there as a child myself some 40 years ago. I saw some things that I remembered but it had a lot of new things also. The scavenger hunt was an educational opportunity for the kids. There's lots... more
