An offbeat beach that is worth the drive. If you can find it and make it up the stairs you are in for a great treat. The views are amazing. If taking kids I would keep your items to a minimum as you will be carrying them over the dune and back. Only downer is not a lot of parking... More

My favorite Holland beach. Gets busy during the summer but it's a great place to visit and walk on off-peak for a private beach feel.

There's no sign for the park or the beach so if you're using GPS, you'll be led to a street that says Dead end - and that's the right one. The parking is at the end of the street at the base of the stairs up and over the dunes. The beach is only about 200 feet wide, buffered by... More

Found our way to this little beach while exploring Holland. As you arrive, you pull into a tiny parking lot...promising if you are hoping for a beach with few visitors. Then starts the workout. The beach is on the other side of large dunes, which means more stairs than I could count to the top, then down to the shore.... More

A very nice beach with fewer daily visitors. There is a long flight of stairs to brave to get to the water's edge, but worth the work. A very typical sandy summer beach - Lake Michigan has no SALT nor SHARKS.

Great Lake Michigan beach, not as busy as the state park, easy to park, a great place to spend the day!

We visited this beach based on reviews about the view. It was a nice view, but we had just come from Sleeping Bear Dunes, so it was a little underwhelming in comparison. The actual public beach area is very small with private beach on either side. You can walk along the shore of the private beach, but cannot stake a... More

The steps are a little work but the views and the beach are worth it. There is limited parking so getting a spot can be hard at times.

If you like finding a secluded spot that is hard to find, this is the place. Once you find where parking is, be prepared for a 15-20 minute hike over sand dunes to get to Lake Michigan. Breathtaking views, huge sand dunes, you will not forget this place. Hope you have a GPS, since this is a difficult place to... More
