This is gorgeous and scenic and well maintained. There is nothing around the park as far as any restaurants or shops. There is a huge beach area with white sand. The water was ice cold but there were people swimming.

We were here in Sept. The weather was not perfect but the views were. Holland State Park Beach has a big beach area with a cafe. Plenty of parking. A lovely spot to watch the sun set over beautiful Lake Michigan. Big Red is across the inlet and on private property but the view from this side was great. I... More

Can't go to Holland without at least one trip to the beach -- rain or shine. Have a non-resident sticker to allow for frequent trips -- was very reasonable.

Nothing spectacular, but I'm not about to give it a small rating because I went there when it was raining and cold... I've been there plenty of times, and it's great for hanging out, and going for a walk... Lots to do in the area, wonderful park, and would go again!

If the weather would have been better we probably would have been able to enjoy it more. We hit a very cold spell and windy. We walked along the beach and out on the pier but turned back because of the wind. We saw the news that night and the evening before the pier near by had to rescue people... More

We were touring the Michigan beaches as we drove home, we stopped at this one to see Big Red! Lots of people fishing and boating and playing on the beach, it was a bit chilly for us to partake in the beachness but we did take a nice stroll.

This is a beautiful park, not only for beach goers but for campers. Whether you like to sun and swim, sit at the channel and watch the boats go by, walk out to the end of the pier, swing in the swings, have a snack in the pavilion or bring a picnic lunch from home and eat at one of... More

It was big, the sand was nice to make castles with, there was ample swings to let the kids enjoy. We went there in September, so don't know what it would be like in hot summer days.

Hello, Holland State Park charges a fee, just as other State Parks do in Michigan. We went to watch the sunset and get some photos of the lighthouse in the evening. All in, worth the $11 entry ?? your decision. The fee is full charge regardless of arrival time. Plan to spend the day, picnic, enjoy the sun and end... More
