Nub's Nob is a wonderful family resort! Friendly staff and well groomed runs! Nice variety of runs also! Kids love the trails! Easy rentals!

We have been skiing out of Petoskey for a few years. We have liked everything about Nubs Nob: the food, the variety of runs, the short lift lines, the nice lodge and the friendly people. The only downside is that they do not have Rocky Mountain vertical.

I don't know what it is about the bartenders at this spot, but they are horrible. There's no interaction with customers - only employees. No smile, no welcome, just a dead-eyed look which translates to unwarranted arrogance. We don't live far from Nubs and love skiing there yearly, We are in our 50's, educated and courteous. We like to end... More

I haven't skied here scince 1990. And WOW! They have really expanded! The terrain park is awesome. The staff is friendly , lunch is great! Great family feel and now I know why locals prefer it over the competition

This is the family friendly place to ski in Michigan. Nice people, family focus and the best skiing too. If you only choose a place to ski based on the quality of the runs and snow, you'll choose Nubs. If you you want a place that has great programs to teach kids and adults, you'll choose Nubs. If you want... More

We live up here, so we have a choice of where to ski and Nubs is simply the best. The staff are all exceptional, the grooming and snow making are the best in the area and I would go to the cafeteria just for the chicken salad! We think their soups are wonderful too. We never wait in a lift... More

Every run was groomed, even on a Wednesday! Boyne Mountain and Boyne Highlands should learn from this. This was such a fun layout. There were runs for every level. We really enjoyed ourselves. Most of the staff were friendly. The bartender was a sort of a jerk, but everyone else treated us with respect and patience. We will be back.

Nub’s Nob boasts that it has the best snow in the Midwest and I would have to agree. The trails are all groomed to perfection and included sixty-three inches of base when I visited. Before the trip I had suffered a shoulder injury and wasn’t sure if I was going to continue the sport of snowboarding due to the increased... More

We always go to Nubs while in the area - it seems much more manageable than the Boynes and seems to attract the locals and families. As opposed to partyers, singles, etc. The lift ticket prices are comparable to Boyne, the ski rental system is easy and the food is really good! You can eat at the lodge at the... More

Most runs took us under 90 seconds. Despite being a saturday the lift lines were not too long. Snow conditions were good enough but variety was lacking. good hill for kids, not for adults. Espresso bar in the chalet was gold though, and definitely appreciated the macchiato i had there.
