We did not stay at Boyne Highlands but took 3 teens ziplining. The grounds were beautiful and staff were great. The zipline instructors were very organized, gave excellent instruction and challenged the kids to push themselves to try new things. I would highly recommend people who are looking into this activity to go to Boyne Highlands. Worth the $64!

We didn't have accommodations there, but we went zip lining and horseback riding. There were many other things to do on the grounds of the resort. The activities were clean and well maintained and were moderately adventourous ( a perfect level for my wife). The employees were knowledgeable and helpful. The zip line had 8 lines, and was fun. This facility has four excellent golf courses on premise. They are affiliated with several others nearby and also associated with Boyne Mountain giving you two more golf courses to enjoy. Staff is always welcoming (even at the front door). Check in has always proved easy. Maps to direct you to your room or cottage are always available. Breakfast buffet includes... More

Boyne Highlands offers four outstanding golf courses right outside the entrance to the Inn. The totality of the resort makes it unique. Everything you want in quality golf is located on the premise. And having the Donald Ross Memorial golf course to play adds to the trip. I never tire of going there.

Booked a 2 hour horseback ride for myself, hubby and daughters (ages 15 & 17) for something "new" to do while up North on Memorial weekend. The guide was great and the horses were all well behaved and gentle. Very relaxing ride through beautiful wooded trails. My girls (and hubby) loved it! Had a great time. They offer 1 or... More

Great skiing for the whole family. We also went dog sledding for the half hour option and it was amazing. Would recommend going for more than a half hour if you can. Also we ice skated on the outdoor pond with the free ice skates. And we loved the bar and Slopeside bar. Great time for the family!

We ski all over the place, including many of the Western US and Canada mountains. But, living in Michigan, we visit the Petoskey area frequently for weekend ski trips. Clearly the two are not comparable, but when you look at Michigan skiing, I would argue that Boyne Highlands is one of the top ski areas (and better than it's sister... More

Boyne Highlands is definitely THE place to ski! We love the fact that from one chair, the average and experienced skier can go down separate runs and meet back at the same chair (that's what happens with my husband and I). The runs are long, some go through woods, and are clearly marked. There's a warming hut with a bathroom... More

Ski vacation with the family staying at the Inverness condos, which were still if great shape for as long as they have been there. They could do something about repainting the pool though. When we got there, we sent the kids to the pool and we went shopping at Glens to stock the fridge. When we got back, the power... More
