The resort features one of the longest ski run sin the lower peninsula of Michigan at over a mile long and the most skiable acres. Boyne Highlands is the perfect place to spend your vacation with so many additional activities such as dog sledding and horseback riding. Boyne Highlands offers great four-season activities, which means you can enjoy the fun and excitement of the Petoskey area all year long!

The Ross

Donald Ross Memorial raised my handicap again. The course is long and punishes those with a hook or slice. Keep it straight and you'll feel a lot better at the end of a round.

Had a wonderful week during our Canadian March Break. Brought a 14 year old niece who found friends as there are many families. Great food, wonderful service, a comfy room and excellent skiing! Instructors were enthusiastic and expert.

Whether you are here for skiing, golf, dinner, lodging or to see a concert like the "Young Americans" Boyne is the place to go.They work very hard to keep all the facilities both up to date and in good condition. This is not an easy job considering the size of their properties. they have good ski or golf and stay... More

I have been skiing at Boyne Highlands most of my life. I've skied all over North America also. But this is a great place for a weekend trip with girlfriends ( which is what I do) or a great family outing. Fun skiing for all, or snowboarding. Zip lines, dog sleds, big tire bicycle riding in the snow. Skating with... More

Boyne Highlands offers some great skiing, the usual Boyne atmosphere and service, but in a much more laid back environment. We always have a great time at Boyne Mountain, but Boyne Highlands is a bit more low key, which is also nice. If you ski in Michigan, definitely make Boyne Highlands one of your stops!

I'll start by prefacing this review with the fact that it was warm and the conditions weren't ideal. That being said, I wasn't at all blown away with the experience. Some the runs were good but not a lot of variety. You can definitely tell you are at a ski resort that caters towards the tourist crowd, and it feels... More

Made a last-minute decision to go to B-H for a season-ending weekend of winter sports. The lifties were kind and friendly. The equipment rental staff were outstanding, making sure everyone in the group had their gear adjusted to our liking. The slopes, terrain parks and half-pipe were in great condition (didn't do any glade skiing -- not my thing). We... More

We skied at Boyne primarily so that our children could enroll in the ski school. While one of them had a good experience, the other didn't, and we won't return again. The terrain was much less varied than Nub's Nob right across the street. Glades were unpleasant to ski since the area between the trees was packed with straggly undergrowth.... More

We stayed at the Highlands for a soccer tournament last fall. Had breakfast in the (very large) main dining room a couple times - good service, very nice selection on the buffet (you could order off the menu too). Omelette station was great too! Easy for large or small groups.
