A very special house by one of the worlds great architects. Expect to spend around 2 hours, first to see the video and then there is the house walk through. Only open Sunday, Tuesday and Thursday and there is no charge. One block down from The Leonard at Logan B&B in case you are staying there

Our family of six adults was able to visit the Meyer May home just before Christmas. This free tour was possible with the funding of the Steel Case Corporation. A beautiful visitor center home was right next door to the Meyer May home. There docents greet you, give background information concerning the home and have visitors watch a video about... More

The restoration of this wonderful home by corporate sponsor Steelcase is fantastic to view. The volunteer docent was very well versed and the introductory video was a super lead-in to the tour. You must see it , if you enjoy Frank Lloyd Wright.

Thank you Steel Case Corporation for saving this incredible home in Grand Rapids Michigan. The simplicity, comfort and thought that went into this home is everywhere and the docents are excellent at sharing this incredible home built by Mr. Wright. How many homes do you know that are specifically designed for someone a certain height! Don't miss this tour.

On a recent weekend stay in Grand Rapids and as a Frank LLoyd Wright fanatic I was delighted to find that one of his homes was open for touring in the area. Not only open but beauifully maintained (thanks to Steelcase) and FREE! I had been to some of FLW's biggies-Falling Waters. Talisman West and the Robie House- but the... More

The Meyer May House in the Heritage Hill area of Grand Rapids is an outstanding example of Frank Lloyd Wright's architectural wizardry! The complete renovation of this home in the 1980's, which was originally completed in 1909, brings you back to real life in that period. The introductory movie shows the extensive efforts required to renovate the home and bring... More
