Wife and I both loved our visit -- my wife, not typically a fan of Frank Lloyd Wright, was surprised how much she enjoyed it. Nice way to spend an afternoon inside from the Grand Rapids cold. Guide was enthusiastic and held our attention, gave plenty of story and room to take pictures and build our appreciation for what we... More

Ive actually performed quite a bit of work on this Frank Lloyd classic. Private tours are available and the house is amazing. One hour or so is all that's necessary.

I was fortunate to have a private tour led by the House's senior docent. The restoration was an incredible undertaking by Steelcase. The design of the house is a prime example of Wright's Prairie Style.

A beautiful masterpiece of Frank Lloyd Wright which has been perfectly restored, thanks to Steelcase. No entrance fee at all, and there was also a very informative and interesting video about how the house got restored during the house tour.

The Meyer May house is undoubtedly the best example of the work of Frank Lloyd Wright. It' s only that way because Steelcase poured hundreds of thousands of dollars into its restoration. The home as it stands today, probably looks like it did when the Meyers moved in. It 's been meticulously restored down to the smallest light fixture. The docents... More

We took a break from artprize to visit the Frank Lloyd Wright house. The tour starts in the visitors center with a video about the renovation. Then, we went around the house and stopped in each room. Our guide, Eric, has been working for steelcase since the renovation. I'm not sure how involved he was but he knew a lot... More

My mother was visiting from FL and we had a wonderful time visiting Meyer May House. We even sent my father and husband and a few days later. Be prepared that the introductory film is 30-40 minutes, but it's an amazing restoration story. And free! Highly recommend.
