In October, several of the homes in the Grand Rapids Heritage Hill District open for a tour. The area is very walkable as most of the homes are near each other, and it is a nice neighborhood. The architecture is amazing and the tour is quite inexpensive and entertaining. More

Heritage HIll is a "must-see" attraction if you are visiting Grand Rapids. More

This district deserves many more inns and could become a wonderful and well known area for inns if the area's museums and restaurants and city tourism would support and help publicize inns. Beautifully reconditioned and well-maintained historic homes of over 100 years old are impressive to view. Some streets are one-way and parking makes them narrow, but it's worth a ride through town on your way to get to someplace else. More
