The GRAM suffers from a collection that is mediocre at best. There are far better paintings at the best small art museum in American, which is located a bit further west in Muskegon. And the Detroit Institute of Art is one of the ten best in the world. The city fathers and mothers in GR have never made the commitment... More

Nice variety of art, some of the art prize exhibits were still on display. Very relaxing way to spend few hours.

We found this very interesting during art prize 2013. I don't think I would probably spend alot of time and enjoy myself as much if I had to pay to look at the art in the museum.

I was pleasantly surprised by the variety of art the museum had to offer. Seeing some selections from the annual Art Prize show was a bonus. The staff was knowledgeable and friendly. You can use your iPhone or iPad to listen to the information as you look at the art. Parking is nearby as are some very fine restaurants.

Needed something to do in the afternoon on December 31st before the evening activities. The six of us all visited this museum and everyone walked away impressed. For the $8.00 entry fee it was well worth the money.

Due to ArtPrize in the city, the fee was waived! There were many very interesting exhibits and information about each was well presented. The building itself is quite something to see - it is rather new - the old museum is in another part of town and rather dowdy!

It's a nice museum, costs aren't too bad for a museum for the size of the city it's located in. They do bring in some nice events like the Princess Diana event and becomes a major hub for the Art Prize event. If you'd like lots of space to yourself, go during the week. The art that's on exhibit I've... More

The GRAM is delightful all the time....Art Prize exhibits really made it come alive. Continuously showing films, and sharing information with the public. A great place to go to be connected.

Thought the flow of traffic was great while seeing the exhibits. Nice layout for easy viewing. And we didn't have to pay to get inside. : )
