Have been to classical and pops concerts. They never disappoint. One of the best gems in our community.

The Grand Rapids Symphony is not your average "long hair" symphony! Besides the usual classical performances, they also do "Pops" concerts, coffee concerts, outdoor picnic concerts and several times we have been to "Cirque..." concerts with performers along with the symphony music!! Those and the New Year's Eve Specials are our favorites but we would highly recommend ALL of the... More

I've seen them so many times and they aways play so beautifully. They add such presence to other performances. Looking forward to seeing them at the Picnic Pops and DeVos.

Our most recent visit was for the annual Holiday Pops. We attend infrequently but have never been disappointed. Each season offers a huge variety of music from classical to pops to movie themes, rock, and children's concerts. The summer outdoor Picnic Pops with fireworks following are always fun too. Directors and performers are top notch. Tickets can be a bit... More

The GR Symphony has been rated as one of America's leading regional orchestras and they consistently live up to that honor. They have never failed to impress me with the quality, depth and breadth of their performances. Each seasonal program brings together a huge variety of genres, styles and guest performers. One of the coolest things they have done is... More

The Symphony is excellent, the local players are really really good lead by David Lockington. John Varineaux is terrific as well. This was a Pops concert, doing Broadway musical music and they brought in three singers. All were good, the male vocalist was outstanding.

I enjoy very performance I've taken in, but I'm no music expert. They do a solid job and constantly bring in guest artists. If you get tickets, I'm sure you will enjoy.

Been season ticket holders for over 15 years. Love, love, love David Lockington and all he's done for the place. These musicians are spectacularly talented and lovely, lovely folks. Everyone should come for a listen (but shut off your stupid phones!)

For a town of the size of Grand Rapids, the symphony is absolutely amazing. The quality of our professional musicians and the popular and rich programs they perform are wonderful. They are a joy to listen to.
