An historic reminder of entertainment with few bells and whistles. A great place to sit and eat your ice cream after strolling the Grand Haven Boardwalk.

The Musical Fountain show was pretty cool! It lasted about a half hour and you pretty much had a good view regardless of where you sat. There was an awkward pause towards the end and people started leave because there wasn't any music playing. We went over Labor Day weekend and the show started at 9:30 instead of 10- due... More

We traveled to Grand Haven this past weekend. We have the privilege of hosting an Italian exchange student this year and wanted to show her our area of Michigan. The fountain seemed like a wonderful attraction. Being in my forties, I can remember traveling there multiple times with my parents. I am still impressed even today. The fountain is over... More

The musical fountain is free and can be seen and heard from many different vantage points. Sunday the fountain is considered Worship on the waterfront, Monday through Saturday is all different kinds of music from classical to country to modern day pop. Shows begin at dusk and last about 20 minutes, the crowd is a blend of families to couples,... More

Love the musical fountains. If you are in the area they are a must see and if you can see them during the coastguard festival or fourth of July fireworks, try to make that happen. It is one of the best celebration displays.

My husband and I were walking the boardwalk and happened by the stadium seating. I knew if the fountain so we decided to watch. The show was about 20 minutes and started around 9:30 when it hot dark. The music was not religious like other reviewers mentioned. They played pop, celtic/irish music, and a90s song. The fountain and lights were... More

This is a cute idea to draw people into this small town, however, I am not religious and most of the songs were geared toward the church goer...seems more like an activity for families with small children. The plus is that its free and when my friend and I went they had a band playing on the stage beforehand.

I enjoyed the musical fountain. The music that accompanies the water is nice, though changing it every other year would be nice. Not sure what would be involved in that, but it is nice to see the variety of colors the fountain changes into.

Liked the colors and fountain but would have preferred more classical music which would lend itself to the movement of the water (like Bellagio). Fun to see at least once while visiting Grand Haven.
