Was difficult to find but well worth the search. There were many elk, some of which came right up to the fence. I don't remember what other animals were there, but it wasn't just elk.

Visited here just this afternoon. As another review said, it is a little difficult to find. All you have to do is find the Elks ( believe it, or not! ) Lodge building, and there you are! We were there at about 2:00 in the afternoon. There is a feeding area up near the fence, and it appeared that they... More

The elk were eating hay when we arrived, so we were able to see many males & females. We got some nice pics. It was a cold snap September evening so we couldn't stay very long. On a future trip to the area, I would like to return to the park. The park was easy to find & not far... More

The official park viewing is at the end of the road at. ..wait for it, the Elks Lodge (lol). There is at least one bench and picnic table. The park is surrounded by fence. So, don't think you'll be walking among them. However, unlike any zoo, the fence is all that separates you. We were lucky enough that they came... More

We go to this location every year for the past 15 years and this time we didn't see any elk such a disappointment. We went to the two viewing locations and no elk. Disappointed.

Where else can you literally come face to face with an enormous elk? It's an experience not to be missed. Elk of all ages share a large preserve in the city limits. There are also reindeer and wild turkeys. Kids and adults alike find this encounter fascinating. Bring your camera!

Can't see this just anywhere. Must visit! Kids loved seeing the Elk and couldn't believe how big they were and how close up they came to the fence.

can get very close to the elk. were able to see two of the males butting heads. Saw some other animals that appeared to be either deer or antelope but without binoculars were unable to get a good view. Also saw some wild turkeys as well.

We are locals. You can get up close and personal with the wildlife without crowds. Our visitors did enjoy the wildlife. Easy to find just drive right up. Bring your leased dogs.

Stop by and view the Elks and their young ones. At feeding time it is easy to view them right from the road and in your car. It is a easy quick fun thing to do with little children or anyone who has never seen Elk up close.
