Marsh Ridge Golf Course is a beautiful northern Michigan golf course. It has the elevation change and tree lined fairways you want and expect from a up north golf course. Combine that with our newly renovated hotel rooms and our first class restaurant, Marsh Ridge Resort is Northern Michigan's Best value Stay and Play Resort.

We played this course midweek. Just enough challenges to keep good and not so good golfers busy. Loved the layout of the course. Easy access to the course south of Gaylord. It has a restaurant on site that looked busy after our round.

This golf course is now owned by the Loon and Lakes golf course owners. It had many elevations a very fun course. They let you play 2 somes and don't make you pair up. We play this course once each year and always look forward to it. They have packages with over night stats and a driving range.

We all loved the layout of the course but the condition was very disappointing. Sand traps had rocks in them the size of your fist, tee boxes were mostly dirt, overall the course needs some attention. On a positive note the staff was wonderful, from the front desk to the pro shop to the food and beverage people.

So much fun have played 18 holes here at least once a year for the past 14 years. Great views, elevations and obstacles. One of my favorite Gaylord Golf Courses. Note they also have a driving range to warm up on.

Four couples took advantage of a discount weekend of golf at Marsh Ridge. We played on a Saturday and a Sunday. The course is not that friendly to women with a lot of forced carries and blind shots, but it is something you should probably play at least once. You definitely need a cart because there are some holes where... More

We have been going to Marsch Ridge for about 10 years and have always enjoyed. Their accommadtions are not 5 star but pretty close to 4 star, depending on the room you get. Their Condo on the 10th hole is really nice with a great view and comfortable rooms and kitchen. The Hotel type rooms are big but nothing really... More

After arriving in Gaylord, I called the Pro Shop to see if I, as a single, might find an opening where I could get in a quick 9 (1:20 or less).....very cooperative and helpful.....got my round in with clear sailing....I really appreciate it when Pro Shop staff take the time to help in this way, as opposed to some places... We purchased a GroupGolfer deal for Marsh Ridge. I read all the reviews on line and was quite skeptical after doing so. I have to say I was pleasantly surprised by the course and facilities. If you are looking for an upscale golf course this is not it. But with that being said the course was not bad at all.... More

My husband and I purchased a deal on GroupGolfer for Marsh Ridge. We liked the layout of the course but it needs work. The tee boxes are in very bad shape, and I've never seen so many weeds on a golf course. Could be a very nice course if some money was spent on upkeep.

This is a sound golf course with good bones. Some really fun and nice elevated tees, some narrow challenging holes, short but interesting. The downside is it needs an injection of funds. The fairways were in good shape, but the tees were really beat up and the greens were varying in quality. If you can get past that, for thirty... More
