You can try so many of the brews here! There are a number of brews that are only available here and are not for sale anywhere else! The honey mead is available in the gift shop. I am not a huge fan of honey mead due to the sweetness, but it is good.

We actually toured the brewery in downtown Kalamazoo. It is free and was very interesting. Afterwards you can purchase their beer on tap in a nice little restaurant where they serve smoked meat sandwiches which are smoked on the premises. A nice way to spend a couple hours.
Plus the beer garden is awesome. Love it everytime I go. Bring cash though, it's the easiest way to pay and then not have to wait in line to cash out.
We enjoyed the beer tasting flights and the food was good as well. It's just a fun place to visit - wish we could have done the tour but for some reason they only do them on Saturday's and Sunday's?

Having immensely enjoyed Bell's beers for years - My Dad, my brother and myself spent the day at the Eccentric Cafe in Kalamazoo throwing back many of their fine beers. The venue is comfortable (especially if you like music) but we came for the beer and left satisfied (and very hungover). Wish I lived closer.
No visit to the Kalamazoo area is complete without a visit to the Bell's Tap Room. Bell's has been brewing craft beer since 1985. The food is not the best, but the beer selection makes up for it.
Friendly staff and great place to see live music . . Dark Star rocked !!
Bells has some of the best micro-brews around. They serve flights of beer for tasting the variety that is not available outside the brewery. The food options are bar food, but tasty. Be bold and try something you have never had. You won't be disappointed.
Yes, it may seem odd that we took our children to a brewery for a tour, but my husband was excited to go, and so we worked it into the agenda. The bar/restaurant area is clean and interesting with some ecclectic decor (hence the name "Ecclectic Cafe.") The food was good, even the children found something they liked and all...
