I went with my 2 young teenaged kids. We spent about 45 min here. The museum is is quite small, there are show cases of men and women who did service in the military that were from Michigan and their story. Alot of reading if you take the time to read each one. The kids were into it at the... More

This was a nice museum, and it had many displays featuring a soldier or pilot in one of the wars (WW1,WW2, Korean/Vietnam/middle east). It also did the same for astronauts. All of them were from Michigan or had lived in Michigan and it has a large selection of medals. It was a little pricey to get in.

This museum is full of memorabilia and stories of the brave michigan men that have served in the military. If you come to Frankenmuth you must visit. It is off the beaten path but well worth your time. My 8 year old grandson loved it too.

What a nice museum, really a terrific place to spend an afternoon. There many displays telling the personal stories of Veterans from every conflict. You get the sense of actually meeting those who have made the ultimate sacrifice in defense of our great nation. The people are very nice, and knowledgable, the grounds are beautiful with some outdoor displays. The... More

Through individual stories many time periods of war come to life. Each case has a story of one person with many items from their life or their service at that time period. Very moving. Spend an hour. 50 yards north of Bronner's Christmas store.

A little museum tucked away behind the action. A lot to see of Michigan military history. If that interests you, visit here. Worth the time.

We were driving by and my 10 year old Son that is interested in the War, asked if we could go. We all took turns doing what we wanted, so now it was his. The displays were very informative and told many tales of many soldiers through all the wars that were local to Michigan . The artillery display and... More

When we take family vacations, Dad usually putters along behind us girls as we shop and shop and shop. Suggesting going to Michigan's Military and Space Museum was something he was totally into and enjoyed, and it was history that we enjoyed as well. Basically the museum is home to memorials of men and women who have served in the... More
