Always loved the planetarium. Now that I have the night sky of New Zealand to feast on the only thing that would make it better would be the seats at the Planetarium to sit back in and thrill at the evening sky!

There should be more of these types of attractions for families to visit. This planetarium is located in the Flint College and Cultural area and has recently reopened after undergoing a big renovation. The staff there are very proficient in their jobs. Kids and adults can all learn something interesting and quite possibly pique their curiosity to learn more about... More

Just remodeled with new projectors. Absolutely love it. Several different shows on any given day. A lot of seasonal shows. A must see!

The planetarium is an excellent learning tool for kids and adults alike. For adults, they have laser rock shows and for children, they have a rotation of kid-friendly holiday shows, including events during Halloween and Christmas. Tickets are affordable for the whole family to enjoy.

We recently visited the newly-redone Longway Planetarium and enjoyed it thoroughly. They have fabulous shows and a super comfortable auditorium in which to watch them. There is a great play area for kids with challenging and creative materials for their use.

Since they have remodeled, the image is really amazing! We saw the film Space and Back. It was great and educational. This would be a great thing to do with kids and teens. The whole experience took about an hour.

Come on in and enjoy the newly renovated Longway Planetarium. The cost, when combined with the Sloan Museum, is $14 for an adult. If you haven't been since it's been renovated, do yourself a favor and go see a show. Don't short change yourself, get there early to see all the lobby exhibits. Take time to mull over what you...
