Came here on the first Saturday of the month and found it was free (they also participate in the Bank of America Museums on Us program so Sunday was free). Staff are welcoming and friendly. We were pleasantly surprised at the variety and quality of art on display here, but remembering Flint's industrial history it shouldn't have surprised us. The... More

I came here with a wonderful young woman, who coincidentally works here. She took me around the museum and we enjoyed a lovely afternoon looking at the works on display. At this time, there was an exhibit on the various paintings from the time of Christ, and also encompassed works from this era in the middle Eastern region. I was... More

I have been a fan of this museum since I was a child! It has always been fantastic and as an art student in Flint in the 60's it was an inspiration! It is still growing and expanding and a real jewel in Flint!

This museum features traveling shows and brings in major art and artists in addition to what it already owns. There are many events, Summer Art Fair, Wine Tasting, Beer tasting, and movies. They offer classes for adults and children. Great gift shop and cafe. Saturday's are free!
