Must see!

Best view of the entire area!! Trail is a bit of an uphill hike but the scenery at the top is the best overall of the area. Not crowded.

The family, 8-11 years old, enjoyed the hike. It's easy to moderate. It is nice and wide, crushed gravel mostly. It mostly goes through the forest. It's not that long or tough, but bring some water. It has a great view at the top. It was a good area for the kids to play with old, downed, trees. Several other... More

The map on Trip Advisor will not take you to Pyramid Point. Pick up a local guide book & follow their map. The hike is a bit of an incline. Take it slow & take a nice rest at the top! Never seen a sight like this in the 48 states!

We hiked to the overlook first and sat for a bit to take the beauty in. Beautiful water but very steep dune. Some people did go down and swam. From there we hiked into the meadow however it quickly became apparent that view was never going to change so we turned to head out to the trailhead. When we came... More

First time to the Sleeping Bear Dunes area and this hike is definitely worth it. Beautiful view. Not too far a hike. If you're feeling motivated, and apparently we were, take the long route for some good exercise and nice scenery.

Wow, what a view! Sit and watch the landscape change every minute as the cloud cover sweeps across the lake.

My husband and I hike the Pyramid Point loop every other year or so. It's a nice little hike with a stunning overlook of the lake & Manitou Islands, and a 2.7 mile loop hike that takes you through a beautiful meadow. However, the majority of people just hike up to the overlook and come back. Which is just fine... More

Ok so I do have some weigh to loose. With a bit of huffing and puffing we did eventually make it. The view was something that Michigan just does not get enough press about. Absolutely beautiful breath taking views.
