MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

We visited with my son, a freshman at MSU, this past fall and had an opportunity to attend the MSU vs OSU football game. While the end result was disappointing, it was phenomenal experience to be in the stadium and witness the Spartan spirit. We had great time touring aroudn the beautiful campus, visiting east lansing and taking in the... More

Went to the Breslin to see the Spartans play some baskeball. The campus is awesome. Cool things to see especially after the game and a night on the town. Enjoyed all of the college hangouts. It's a cool campus!

We had tickets for the MSU vs Nebraska Women's Basketball game so we made a overnight trip. We had a great time. I liked the Breslin Center...very nice and clean. Michigan State lost but it was a close game all the way. Only bad part of that night was the snow and blowing wind on our trip home the next... More

Even in the bitter cold, Campus is a great place to check out, with plenty of food & shopping near by.

I'm from Ohio State-- and even I loved this place for an incredible cafeteria meal and visit with my family. It is said to be one of the largest food service cafeterias in the US, but all the food we ate had a la carte quality that one would expect at a good restaurant!! We made the happy discovery that... From the gardens to the planetarium to the events, you won't be disappointed after spending time on campus. The Wharton Center, the Breslin Center and Spartan Stadium are guaranteed to be a memory you won't forget. Stop at the Dairy Store and new art gallery for over the top experiences. The campus is beautiful in all four seasons and oh... More

Whether you are coming with your college bound kid or just want to tour campus it is certainly worth the trip. Be sure stop at the Dairy store and indulge in cheese and ice cream. The International Center located next to Spartan Stadium has a bookstore and food court. The Art Museum and Planetarium are also good bets to spend... More

On campus just killing time and saw the Women's VB team played Minnesota that night. We went to a late lunch at HopCat (see review). Nice surprise when we walked in to see there is no admission fee and was quite a display of athletic ability. Seeing these 6'4" women spike the ball in person made me glad I wasn't... More

Graduated from MSU in 1970. It is a Land Grant university and really one of the most beautiful universities I have ever seen. Yes, of course I am prejudiced but I can't help that! Two of my children graduated from this institution as well! The campus is beautiful just to walk around, and spend a day. The flowers, buildings, grounds,... More
