MSU's huge country-like campus offers a lovely setting for running, biking or just hanging out, and also has places to visit, like the Beal Botanical Gardens, Sanford Natural Area, the 70,000-capacity Spartan football stadium, an art center, planetarium and, of course, the MSU Dairy Store for ice cream.

OK, so we're biased. My siblings went there. I went there. Two of our three kids went there. My wife grew up in the shadow of campus. My daughter had her wedding outdoors at Beaumont Tower. She and her husband for a company owned by the University Foundation. But putting all that aside, this is one of the great universities... More

People get lost in the system and are just numbers. Most incoming students are from overseas and the local students are not that bright. Not the best school I have been to. Poor parking and campus is too spread out. Signage is not good!

Kids love it,,,,so attractive. Evening strolls are my favorite. A great place for weddings out of doors.

Attracted here even at the young age of twelve when I first had an opportunity to visit a friends brother at college, this campus is one of the most splendid in the state. The architectural beauty itself is worth roaming the vast grounds. There are many things to participate in while on your visit; gardens, museums, libraries, restaurants (including Brody),... More

Doing the college tour with my teenage daughter. Last week UM this week MSU. My daughter loved the campus feel at MSU. The ability to walk the campus and the feeling that it gave as its own 'city'. The new Broad museum of art building is something to behold. If you have kids contemplating college, or if you just want... More

Had an opportunity to be up there in May. It is its own little city. Main roads, cars, busses, big buildings. Just like every other city. Then there are the hidden little gems tucked away in the campus. Quiet, natural, serene almost pastoral settings that seems to be removed and aloof from the hubbub of the main campus. The area... Beautiful campus, lots to see and do, and many wonderful memories, and plans to make more. Spartan Stadium, Munn Ice Arena, Wharton Center, Breslin Center, Kellogg Hotel and Conference Center and the State Room, State Room events, strolling by the Red Cedar, the Art Museum, the MSU museum, watching/listening to the marching band; there's always something going on.

Living in East Lansing we are on MSU's campus regularly, especially once the students leave for the summer. Great place to ride your bike, go for a walk or have a picnic. Beautiful trees and gardens all around campus and the Red Cedar river runs right through it. There are two places to get ice cream from the Dairy Store;... More
