Huge campus ......beautiful...with river running thru it. North half is older...south half more modern. Old MSU auditorium is great venue for a concert...capacity 3600. I have been to all Big Ten campuses...top three are MSU, Wisconsin, Indiana.

Most Big Ten campuses are huge and MSU might be toward the top of the list in that respect. On the other hand, it also probably feels even larger than it is because it is laid out in a continuous, mostly-contained flat space. This is in contrast, for example to the University of Michigan or the University of Wisconsin which... More

Sparty, the rock, the stadiums, the north dorms and circle drive, fraternity and sorority row are all awesome things to see. Just make sure to pay your parking meter or ull regret it!

Visited Breslin Center to watch MSU and North Carolina. We were all wearing our Carolina blue and experienced nothing but the best treatment from the MSU fans. The campus was a beautiful place and one I hope to visit in the future. An added bonus.....no parking fee!

I have visited many Big Ten campuses (and attended two) and was surprised at the subdued nature of this campus. Perhaps the students feel a threat from the Big U down the road in Ann Arbor? It's a pretty campus with a river running through it, but you don't feel the intensity or the intellectual curiosity present on so many... More

places in the country....the campus has architecture, gardens (world award winning), walking and biking trails, an incredible carillon tower; (Beaumont) which will stop you in your tracks when the concert begins, museums, two performance complex theaters, multiple sports venues, the BEST dairy & ice cream anywhere (and yes I'm including Italy and Switzerland!) and plenty of green space. MSU is... More

Michigan State University is a wonderful place to work, visit, and attend. I've worked here for 37 years and enjoyed many of the vast opportunities campus has to offer. from the museums to the concerts, to the games and the restaurants. The Chapel is a great place to hold small, intimate weddings, or the Union is for a much larger... More

Two utterly opposite museums are located on the East Lansing campus of Michigan State University. Both are must sees! The older MSU Museum is a step into the past of museum-making. It is a general museum covering many areas of history, traditional culture, natural history and more. Beautiful, excellently done, and informative exhibits. Great gift items in the gift shop.... MSU is my Alma Mater, so my review may be slightly biased, but I love it here. As a student, I always appreciated the fantastic architecture around campus, the on-campus and off-campus dining, walking along the Red Ceder River during all the seasons. Oh, and football Saturdays...you can't forget those! All in all, MSU will always be another home-away-from-home for... More
