For close to 200 years, Roman Catholics have worshipped here. Rebuilt after a fire in the 1880s and restored again in 1984, this is one of the most beautiful, most respectful religious icons in America.

If you are into history this is a pretty neat place. It has a lot of history and the building is old. Not a lot to say about it but if you are wandering around downtown it is worth a peek. A bit of nice and quiet.

Doors are usually open so you can walk in. The place is absolutely breathtaking. Must have been a ton of mob money dumped into this church back in the day.

A beautiful old church in the heart of Detroit. A true rose in the thorn bush of life. I recommend a visit there just so see the art alone.

Detroit is a magnificent city. You have all kind of attractions. One of the principal is this beautiful church, the first in the city. There is the devotion of Saint Anne every July 26th. Saint Anne was the grandmother of Jesus. That's why this day is called also "Grandparents day".

A beautiful old RC Church. Daily Mass at 12:10pm. Many relics in side cove. Daily confessions before Mass. Across from Greektown casino. Free parking if going to Mass.

Beautiful and historic church just outside of Greektown. The Latin mass is especially lovely - you really feel the history of the building. It has been pristinely cared for and every detail is gorgeous.

This is one of my favorite old churches in Detroit, and it is still well taken care of. My brother was married here and my son baptized. You can't help but feel a sense of peace when you enter.
