I toured the Model T Heritage Complex with my 23 year old son. During the tour I started to realize how important this place is and had a better understanding of what this plant represents. This historical building is where the modern age was born. During my tour I learned much about Henry Ford the man, as well as the... More

Our conference took a trip to this museum one afternoon. If you happen to find yourself in Detroit, make time for this stop! Absolutely incredible to stand where Henry Ford had as he conceived the Model T. All of the cars are quite impressive. You will learn A LOT and truly respect this historical spot. Tickets are $8 for adults... More

This is a place where most part of automotive industry was born. It is impressive to see what this place represented in the past for Detroit's growth and prosperity. The tour is very good, and most part of the plant is still the same as 100 years ago.

The Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is a wonderfully restored building. It's a treat just to see the complex in it's original state. The guided tour was very informative and well worth the time. Easy on-site and secure parking and cheap admission.

The Model T Automotive Heritage Complex is a great example of people coming together to preserve a piece of American history. The Ford Piquette Plant, the first factory built by Henry Ford, was the birth place of the Model T, recognized as the most influential car of the 20th Century. It was the first affordable car for the working man.... More

I read about this place on Trip Advisor and skipped my trip to the Henry Ford Museum to go here instead. I've seen the Henry Ford Museum and Greenfield Village many times and have to say that I enjoyed the personal tour here much more. The best time to come is in the early morning where you can catch the... More

This is the place where the first model T where built. The guide explained to us incredible details of the cars and equipment in the museum. You can see the first T engine, a replica of Ford's office and other unique cars and artifacts. Very much worth visiting. Very much!

The Ford Piquette Plant is a great place to learn about the birthplace of the Model T. This is the first Ford Motor Company-built assembly plant. Models B through T were built at Piquette. The guides are knowledgeable and will thrill you with the history of the plant.

If you love the auto world and it's history, this place is for you. Detroit's Ford Piquette Avenue Plant is the birthplace of the Model T. This historic landmark dates back to 1904. You'll see a drafting table in the corner of the plant where the Model T was created. In addition to Fords, there are other early model cars... More

This is where the Model-T was born. The ancient plant is going through a complete authentic restoration (including Henry Fords Office). The cars and technology will either amaze or send you on a trip down memory lane. This is the old industrial center of Detroit ... alot of the buildings are empty shells but the area is safe!
