I love, love, love Greektown Casino! I live in Toledo, OH and I have often made day trips to Greektown and I have been happy very time! The best thing about Greektown is the easy access to downtown. Get bored of gambling? Just hop on the People Mover (the station is attached to the casino and you can to places... More

Boodles of machines to choose from. I only wish smoking was allowed there because the ventilation system isn't the best. More

This review relates only to the casino; I have reviewed the hotel elsewhere (and given it four "stars"). The casino layout is interesting: a warren of rooms, some big and some small, on different levels. The amount of smoke in the air is appalling. My husband and I could not gamble in the smaller rooms: the smoke hung visibly in... More

Now it's just OK. The casino needs some freshening up and the clientele sometimes look like they just rolled out of bed; not exactly the casino experience most people think of. There's an outside / upstairs patio bar I LOVE...!!! More

Have been to many casinos over the years, in for a day or staying several days on the property. Wiil not return to Greektown. Found simple amenties like restrooms dirty and out of supplies. Employees were often non-responsive and unwelcoming. Greektown staff need a lesson in customer service. Management staff need to really inspect the property for cleanliness. More

Obviously, you should not expect to win every time you visit a casino, especially if you play the slots. However, when you compare identical machines at different casinos - for example - Gorilla Chief, and find that (1) the number of lines for payoff are fewer; (2) the amount for the minimum wager is higher and (3) the frequency of... I do NOT like the fact that smoking is allowed. The casino is probably fine, but the smoke is a total turn-off. Even the non-smoking area stinks. More
