Don't miss spending a day strolling the streets of Mexicantown. Excellent bakeries, tortilla shops and wonderful restaurants. Great atmosphere and great fun. The gift shops have beautiful wares imported from Mexico. I love my huge Mexican sombrero. Enjoy!

The rehearsal dinner was held here. I don't understand why with a reservation booked with the amount of people that we had 3 tables, three servers, and 3 bills?

Mexican town is a region on the Detroit side of the Ambassador Bridge where you can get some great food and snacks before heading back over to the Windsor side if you're from this region. I stumbled upon it the first time I went over and now this is where I try to eat every chance I get when I'm... More

Traveling in and out of Mexicantown in Detroit was a pleasant surprise. I had the opportunity to eat at three restaurants and was impressed with each one. The streets are tight and parking is not great but it's worth it. I went there for lunch...doesn't look like a spot I'd want to walk the streets of at night.

We went for dinner before the red wings game and 6 healthy guys split two flaming fajitas... They were amazing and so much food we couldn't finish them! The manager Lisa called us a number of cabs to get to the game and after waiting for a half hour or so with no luck, the owner Frank and the manager... More

Took the shuttle here from the Inn On Ferry St to a restaurant called Xochimilco which was brilliant, not much to see in Mexican town but there looks to be about 5 or 6 nice eatery's.

We like the flavor of the whole neighborhood. We here for slamming back some Tequila and try to follow with hot, spicy food as quickly as possible.

Neighbor and I took a drive and ended up in Mexicantown and we were so happy we did. Its been a long time for me and I'd been craving some good Mexican food. We started on some great chips and salsa and both ordered enchiladas and guacamole. I could have ordered again!! It was so fresh and delicious; just loved... More

As where greeektowns sign attract you in, mexicantowns should read " enter at your own risk " there trying there best, and most of the food is good... But the area is sketchy lets be honest .. Go in with the right mind set and you'll be just fine.. But don't think your entering some vibrant oasis of city blocks.
