It's the best casino in Detroit...by far!

Nothing beats hanging out in a huge room filled with nasty, stinky smoke. It was really a horrible few hours of my life.

The ventilation system must not have been working properly, it was very smoky. I came across quite a few of the slot machines that either have sticky buttons or ones that are not working at all, thereby limiting my choice of bets. Slot machines seem to be tight comparing to the other area casinos.

Even though it is on the small side for a casino outside of Vegas, it is big and you don't really notice all the people there until it starts getting busy. And if you are a MLife member, you can earn points here like you do at the MGM properties in Vegas.

I liked the casino. Even though there was smoking it was not bad. They had that piped in scent that makes it seem not there at all and the vents worked wonders. I played a game for and hour and left with 125.00 up! That makes me happy cause i usually lose. Hubby won a bit too. It was not... More

They do a nice job of giving you a glitzy casino experience in Motown. It will scratch your casino itch if you need to roll the dice.

I love Las Vegas casinos, not because I'm a big gambler, but because of the shows, eats and entertainment value. MGM Grand Casino has no shows or entertainment to speak of. It is smoky and caters to a seedy clientele. It's only saving grace is that the excellent Wolfgang Puck restaurant is located here.
