Went there with some friends. The casino was very empty. Not much excitement or real interest. After a bit, we decided to go to the Greektown casino. Apparently that is where everything was happening. You are better of going straight there. Like most casinos, this one is smokey but Greektown has an opening to the outside so it airs out... More

The casino is nice inside, there are plenty of tables and slot machines, the smoke is pretty bad so expect to go home and throw your clothes in the wash and take a shower. I have been here several times and never had any luck on the slots. They seem very tight on the payouts. I have better luck up... More

We had a couple of days to kill and stayed at the MGM just for the heck of it. What a wonderful surprise it was. First class rooms as good as Vegas and an incredibly caring and polite staff. We'll definitely be back.

Didn't win any money (I didn't), but had a good time. The only thing about these casinos is that they don't have free alcohol beverages while you play. Overall, fun time, I bought my gifts out of the shop there.

I was surprised to see such a large multilevel casino in Detroit. I'm not a real gambler but it seems to have everything you can expect for a fun tourist casino visit.

We stopped in one night after the baseball game and only stayed about three hours. But I must say I was very impressed with the little I saw. The casino is very clean and the staff is regularly seen keeping it that way. The M Life Players Club desk personnel were very nice and quick. The casino is quite large,... More

As a native of metro Detroit I have visited all 3 of the casinos (motor city & greektown being the other 2) and by far the MGM is the cleanest, biggest and has the most variety of games from classics to new. New slots take a bit of time to be rotated in (so if you're looking for the newest... More
