Kind of sums it up. A place you might want to visit once in your life. That's all. We were alone most of the time but I did see see two other people there before we left. Some good information but overall I am not sure if I would ever stop back. Some famous names on the various plaques thru... More

We were the only people in the place the entire time we were there, aside from the front desk. We learned some interesting info about people who changed and molded the car industry into what it is today. It's not overly exciting if you're not at least somewhat into car history.

I entered an empty parking lot and began to wonder if it was closed. Since it was almost noon I thought I'd misread their hours of operation. It turned out to be open and staffed by 2 employees. If you're interested in wall plaques, awards, pictures and very few static displays or even cars this might interest you. It is... More

Small enough to see without getting bored. Cool cars to look at. Lots of information about how cars developed over the years.

This museum focus is on the people behind the automobiles. They honor the designers, managers and specialists. The have inducted the designer of the safety belt. The managers of the major auto companies, famous drivers and even car salesmen. There is one inductee who sold over 13,000 individual cars in his career. Many of the inductees are famous but the... As you walk in the door of this hall of fame (This is not a museum.), the greeters at the front desk warn you that it has nothing to do with the Henry Ford Museum or Greenfield Village even though they basically share a parking lot. It's almost as if they are trying to turn you away, but I guess... More

This museum is exactly what it claims to be -- the Automotive Hall of Fame. It does not promote itself as a car museum. It is a very interesting and informative museum about the automotive industry. Yes, you do have to read the exhibits to enjoy them, but they are worth it. If you are interested in the industry and... More
